ok but…has anyone else noticed that Megatron just….huddles in a ball when threatened? Because he’s done this before.
also under the table at Maccadam’s (can’t do screenshot on phone but I’m sure someone can!) and it makes me think that if this is his instinctive reaction, how much bravery and courage it takes him to go out and fight, every time, with all he’s got, and everybody watching, when what his spark is screaming at him is to huddle down, get small, hide until it’s safe again
It kinda makes sense though?
I mean, he worked in mines right, he probably had experience with seismic drills in the event of emergency. When I lived in California, they always told us that in the event of a bad earthquake, you get under something sturdy, you curl up small and protect your vulnerable parts. That way if anything collapsed there’d be a buffer between you and the weight.
With humans, when you crouch and curl, you go to protect your head and neck. For a Cybertronian, wouldn’t they curl in a way to protect the spark/spark chamber?
So maybe its just reverting to the first thing he learned.

One of my favourite shows just spat out this little vile of poison. And now I want to vent. Their is a massive differents between being harsh and being physically and mentally abusive. And no, beating your kids don’t make them stronger. Literally all of psychology has shown that it deeply detrimental.
Her mom literally walked around with a wip and hit her every time she stepped out of line drawing blood. The show even has these as memories she suppressed because of how harmful they were.
