do you have any resources and/or headcanons on being trans in dalish culture?
Yes I do!
Firstly, you can check out some gender-related elven terms I made up HERE. From that list you can combine those terms to make specifics, i.e. if you wanted to say "transgender man" you could use "hanalen-ma ashi".
I very intentionally included "ashe" as a third gender or gender-neutral option in that list, because I see zero reasons why the Dalish need to use an IRL western binary system. If DA is gonna take from so many Indigenous cultures to write about elves, then lets think about what that means in an uplifting way too! Many Indigenous peoples of the Americas (and beyond) traditionally did not hold the same ideas about gender that the colonizers later forced on us. Just for example from my own people: we have one pronoun. Just one, because it is not seen as necessary to constantly refer to someone as their gender. If you needed to refer to someone as a woman let's say, my ancestors would add "'skw" onto words, (like "muin'skw" means "bear woman",) but only when strictly necessary to the context of what was said, or perhaps part of a name/nickname.
Likewise, I see no reason why the Dalish would not be perfectly okay with changing one's gender at any point in life. I strongly believe that they would understand that gender does not have to be a fixed state of being determined at birth, but rather, can flow and change like any other part of the person, you know? This is why I really like the idea of "hanalen-ma" being a term used for being trans; "found true self". A new discovery of who you are, worth honouring!
In terms of transitioning, there's no reason that we can't envision the Dalish having their own knowledge of magic and medicines for such things. This is a fantasy setting, where imagination is the limit! (This is why I specifically chose to include it as a point when I wrote my trans Davrin fic lol.)
