Stage 5: Rewatch all the things!

Stage 6: Read the AO3 fanfic on your favorite character(s).

Stage 7: Finish Stage 6 in, like, one really pathetic PJ-wearing-Pizza-eating weekend and feel both proud and disgusted.

Stage 8: Lament over the lack of activity on AO3 in that fandom and obsessively check for new stories and obscure and/or unhelpful tags.

Stage 11: Start looking for fic on characters in fandoms you’ve previously avoided for some reason, but not stooping to Character/Reader shipping because you have some standards, or just really hate the 2nd person POV.

Stage 12: Curse _____ for being so goddammed talented and cute and currently off the stage or screen, then cycle back to Stage 1.
