do you think any of the patrons looked at zukos scarred face - obviously done by a firebender - and immediately think jet was an asshole? like

jet: hes a firebender!!!!

patrons, thinking about the backstory they concocted for zuko and iroh where their home was invaded by firebenders and they barely survived with their lifes so they could come and have a peaceful life selling tea in a city the war doesnt touch:

For those wondering about the fox. Grace has a subtle motif with this animal throughout the movie, but especially this shot where they pack this toy fox with his belongings on the Hail Mary. The pose of it looked a little haunting to me, thus prompting this illustration. __________ (Small/large prints are also available on my etsy ❤️)

Hey guys! I’m so excited to start positing the comic! It’s going to be a long ride, so please make sure to have your notifications on for whenever I post. I planned to have a set schedule but there are days where I won’t be able to work a much and I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself.

So far I have 16 pages to clean and the story is only half way there. I promised a long comic and I will deliver.

I got suddenly inspired when I was relistening to the Pacific Rim AU and pumped out some concept for a Bloody Mary Pacific Rim AU.

I took a LOT of inspiration from pre-existing Jaegers from Pacific Rim and Mass Priduction Eva from Evangelion and mix and matched to try and come up with the Iron Lung and Hail Mary Jaegers.

Happy Month of May-bel! The prompt was "your pick" so I picked something... incredibly obvious to anyone who knows me 😅 Anyway, Mabel is obviously the best character in Gravity Falls because she is a Ghibli kid. sorry i don't make the rules.

She was already my favorite when I got back into Gravity Falls, but then i read this in Journal 3 and I knew we were kindred spirits:

This leaves me with so many questions. Has she seen other Studio Ghibli movies too? (Studio Libeccio...?) Like has she seen the ones that are generally considered cuter, like Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service, MORE than 82 times? If not, why did her parents only show her the one that was generally considered terrifying according to most kids??

I bet Mabel would be the type of kid to try to fly on her own witch's broom. Or make her own Mehve out of foam and cardboard. Or put her hand in fire and get burned, pretending it's Calcifer. Or bring a wolf pup home after seeing Princess Mononoke. The hospital visits would be numerous XD

What is that, you ask? Could this also be subtle propaganda to peer pressure @hkthatgffan into watching more Ghibli movies? Maybe so....
