Okay I left this alone because I didn’t know how to answer this. Like at all. Was it even a question?
Anyway, I’m treating it like a question.
So Dying Will Mode is explained as taking off all physical limits for five minutes initially through use of the Dying Will Bullet; so people in Dying Will Mode can do physical feats they normally can’t.
Then we get into Hyper Dying Will Mode which is explained as taking off all internal limits. Not just mental limits. So all those writers’ concerns Tsuna has about Hyper Mode; they’re terribly valid. Please remember that he did vaporize future!Byakuran. Morals go bye-bye.
Umei no Mai and I had a very complex discussion about Hyper Dying Will Mode being terrible for non-Skies.
Basically by releasing all internal limits the person is also able to use ALL of their Flame(s), which they may not be able to control. Therefore it could depending on the Flame, amount and control could very easily be lethal and not just in the short-term. Storm Flames eating holes in organs, Sun Flames causing cancer/heart-attacks, Mists getting lost in their head/utter disconnect from reality/seizures, Clouds not propogating body parts in proportion so things break/tear.burst, Lightnings frying themselves from the inside/nerve damage/seizures/muscle cramps from hell.
Notice that Rains are probably the only non-Sky that can do this without a ludicrously high risk of killing themselves; tranquilizing yourself could lead to organ failure/shutdown but it’s more likely they’ll knock themselves out, possibly into a coma. It’s still not healthy for them.
We only have Basil as an example but he’s older than Tsuna. He’s also of a completely different nationality. Tsuna is shorter than the majority of his classmates. He and Basil are pretty much of the same height. Why is Basil so short when Basil should be hitting/past growth spurts?
Rain Flames at work there in the slowing/impeding part of Tranquility. The problem with physical growth is that it generally doesn’t get triggered more than a couple of times; you’ve got your growth phases until you’re about ten or so and then a few years after that come the puberty growth phases. All the growth phases are chemically controlled, so should production of certain chemicals be slowed puberty’s growth phases really don’t either. They also won’t be triggered again naturally. Sun Flames may work.
So Iemitsu teaching Basil Hyper Dying Will Mode is terrible for Basil. Basil can survive it, but he’s also very lucky to. I mean, look at Bluebell. She’s a Rain and nearly killed herself with her own Flames pre-Byakuran. Well that’s what’s implied anyway as she was in the hospital should I remember that correctly; there’s also something about Bluebell’s brother somewhere but whatever.
Now for why Skies can get away with Hyper Dying Will Mode is because of the Harmony Factor; if the Flames go a little wild, it’s not going to kill them unlike practically everyone else.
As for why Enma can also get away with Hyper Dying Will Mode is also because of his Flames. They’ve got gravity, so while he could get the occasional muscle/ligament tear/broken bone/concussion, it would you know take work and focus to accidentally tear out an organ/bleed to death instead of it being a product of uncontrolled Flames. Plus he’s a guy so it’s not like he’s going to give himself an ovarian torsion which is basically twisting the ovary out of place and very painful. Most of your organs have plenty of tissue holding them in place against and without gravity. And unlike Basil, Enma is likely to get through puberty more or less normally.
Now for Ultimate Dying Will Mode, both the physical and mental limits are removed. There’s really nothing more to explain to that other than it’s pretty much suicide for anyone other than Skies to do it mostly because the person has to ‘master’ Hyper Dying Will Mode first and then go into Dying Will Mode on top of that.
Enma probably could, but who knows? Someone draw Enma in Ultimate Dying Will Mode please?
