Overseer is an outcode Sans that appeared in the void one day and was tasked with making sure the AUs ran properly, this includes:
-repairing anomalies which can include small things like an out of place bush, items appearing where they shouldn’t, to bigger problems like characters who shouldn’t exist.
-stories going in their proper direction, he can’t have Murder deviating from killing the residents of the underground! Then there’d be no story!
-keep AU codes stable, this is especially apparent in AUs that no longer have a creator as they have no creativity to keep them running.
And various other smaller tasks that he hated doing.
One day, he decided to create himself an assistant, one that could do all that busy work he hates and help him with stabilizing creator-less AUs which then began Project Remedy.
Project Remedy was Overseer’s various attempts at creating himself an assistant, the first three failed and were properly dealt with while the 4th one was perfect and remains his assistant to this day.
All would’ve been well for him, if the first failure didn’t escape where he contained her.

BASICALLY these are designs of fusions from a UTAU roleplay I had w a former friend from when I was like 10 til I was 16 and I started thinking about it again and I was like oh yk what I’m gonna draw what the characters always looked like in my head

So essentially me and the friend had fat crushes on multiple diff sanses but we were like oh let’s make them all into one guy so first we have Fatale Noir (but im js gonna call him Fatale) is a fusion between Fell, Ink and Nightmare and he was my friend at the time’s pookie lol, his name was different and he definitely had a different design but uhhh this is just a me thing now rather than two people so I do what I want 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Then the other fusion is my pookie, Bluescreen teehee, he’s a fusion between classic, Horror (I call him Jaws), and Error. Definitely a bit more stable than Fatale is because the sanses who make up Bluescreen are a lot more similar than the ones who make up Fatale, he does get unstable at times cuz of Error.
The designs are determinant on how stable and well they mesh together, Fatale’s design is cluttered because there’s a lot of conflicting personalities and ideas in contrast to Bluescreen who has less conflict within him.
The whole explanation that my friend at the time came up with for the fusion was AUs started merging together and people started merging with anyone who was similar to them either in regards to personality, design or a shared soulmate tehe that’s why Fatale is fused together.
But anyways, story is that Fatale was my sona’s dad and they have a fantastic relationship 🙏🏼🙏🏼 lmaooo and Bluescreen and my sona are married and have two kids
The children woooo! Nayru’s got two because she wears a mask, she’s an alien same as my sona and Farore is an adopted forest god, pretty epic 😎
This is something so incredibly personal to me because it’s from my childhood and my formative years but I’m sooo happy to share it because it’s still something I really love even now at 20 years old, idk I might make a comic based on the old roleplays tehe :P

Edit: I saw a few people liking this so I’m gonna give y’all context to these characters (it’s below the cut heehee)
So basically, when I was like 10 I wrote this REALLY bad self insert fic on quotev (K is the self insert) and throughout the years I’ve continued using K as a character she’s just gone through a few redesigns lol, then one day I decided I kinda wanted to go back to that story but was wondering how do I make it like- not bad so I came up with this!
K is the first in a series of experiments performed by my out code oc Overseer (he watches over AUs and makes sure they’re stories run accordingly, he handles glitches in their code and such), essentially, Overseer was overwhelmed by the amount of AUs being made and abandoned (abandoned aus take much more time and effort to stabilize) so he decided to create an assistant and Project Remedy was created :))!!

Mercy 1 (known as K), was the first attempt at an assistant, she was powerful as she possessed monster magic (specifically some of Overseer’s own magic) but also a human soul, she’s half human and half skeleton monster due to this. She was incredibly unstable both physically and emotionally so, to contain her, Overseer hastily coded and created an AU to hold Mercy 1 in. He coded her memory to forget her creation, him and her original purpose and tossed her in her containment au, often he checks in on her au and her to make sure it’s still functioning and she still believes in the false reality but she’s starting to remember again. She is generally very sweet or the way she talks seems sweet
Mercy 2 (also called Azra): the 2nd attempt, she was meant to be the complete opposite of Mercy 1, she’s very loud, brash and has a pretty short temper. Much smaller than Mercy 1 but isn’t any less stronger. Was the first to be given the name Mercy so occasionally Overseer refers to her as the True Mercy. Would otherwise be completely human if Overseer hadn’t retrieved a cursed demon sword from an abandoned outcode marriage AU and gifted it to her. By all means she should’ve been THE assistant but her aggressive nature and headstrong attitude made it hard to give her orders and send her anywhere which caused Overseer to make the decision to essentially seal her away into a notebook he keeps on his desk, he rarely opens it up to talk to her.
Mercy 3 (known as Aggie): the 3rd attempt, Overseer scrapped the entire idea of a Mercy possessing magic of any sort while creating her, hoping that maybe a lack of magic with a completely human soul would make her more stabilized and he was right, she was more stable but she was also soft and physically very weak, she was almost killed the first time Overseer sent her into an AU, maybe Swapfell wasn’t the best choice for training.
After Mercy 3 proved herself to be incapable of being the assistant, Overseer coded her into a Neutral timeline of Undertale and considering how many of those there are, she’s gone unnoticed by the others.
Mercy 4: the 4th and final attempt, this one succeeded, she’s cheerful, powerful, and listens easily, infused her with a bit of the demon of the sword’s blood to give her powers that allow her to see threats and problems before they happen (occasionally addresses her as see-demon) which has made stabilizing much more efficient, she is occasionally sent into aus to make sure they’re fine after a stabilizing and since her creation, Overseer has had her doing the check ups of her former “sisters”. The only one to actually use and respond to the name Mercy.
