They should make a "are you mad at me" that is taken neutrally and informationally every time and doesn't make everything worse when you ask it
your scent processing being so close to memory in your brain is insane sometimes you step outside and take a whiff and go "ah, it smells like playing pokemon emerald in my third grade afterschool program in the crisp september of 2006"
There’s actually two of us
"I don't like the fandom content this person posts!"
Then unfollow them.
"I'm not following them, but they're in all the tags!"
Then block them.
"I blocked them but all the people I follow reblog their posts!"
Then unfollow those people.
"But I like their other content!"
Then add the person's username to your blocklist.
"But—"
No. Stop. Listen. You cannot control what other people post or how they interpret your favorite characters or what ships they like. All you can control is your own actions and your public responses. Block them, filter out their username, then post your own stuff to carve out a space for yourself and people like you in your fandom. You will be a million times happier if you focus on what you're doing and what you enjoy instead of on the people you don't like.
To clarify the filter thing for people who don't know:
If you go to account settings->content you see->filtered post content (NOT filtered tags), you can add someone's username and it will block any posts that include that user in either the op or the reblog chain AND any posts that were reblogged directly from them.

- cherry wine is about domestic abuse. it’s now called a cute proposal song.
- too sweet is about seizing the day and ignoring healthy habits in favor of having more fun with unhealthy ones. he’s actively critical of himself in the song. it’s now called a song about thinking you’re superior for drinking black coffee.
- take me to church is about worship as a metaphor for sex. it’s called a religious song.
- eat your young is a song about war and political greed. it’s called a song about sex.
- now, the strongly political message of nobody’s soldier is being ignored in favor of calling it a metaphor for hozier’s relationship with his fans.
when are we going to stop simplifying hozier’s music down to cute little cottagecore bogman forest music? maybe you dont want to hear this but i don’t care. quit listening to hozier for the aesthetic. there’s a reason why empire now, foreigner’s god, butchered tongue, etc. songs with unignorable political messages are among his least popular songs.
i think "it takes a village" shouldn't be just "to raise a child". we should understand it takes a village to do literally everything we do. all day every day. without our communities we would not have drinking water or electricity or clean streets or food or shelter or anything. we cannot do any thing alone. we just can't. and with that comes the fact that you are not alone. you already have a community, seek to be an active part of it, you will feel better. reach out and thank them, they're happy to have you too. i promise. it takes a village to live.
This is the reason we ever made villages in the first place. If we didn't need them, society would never have gravitated to it.
The absolute contempt for these locks is palpable.
I love his kits. My daughter can pick a Masterlock now.

If as you're reading this post you're in a sufficiently private and relaxed situation that you feel comfortable doing so, why not go ahead and make a weird noise with your mouth and/or voice. Maybe try to find one you've never done before in your life, to have the satisfaction of expanding your palette of possible physical actions a tiny bit. You may surprise yourself, you may be inspired to new curiosity towards the peculiar and unique machinery of your body. Only if you want to though.
