About Interrogatormentors

In celebration of our 69th post (nice) we thought it would be appropriate to make a pinned post now that we're picking things up again.

The interrogatormentors are a shadowy branch of the Empire, serving as interrogators, jailers, bodyguards, and executioners when appropriate. SOLLUX CAPTOR is a former rebel turned helmsman turned interrogatormentor, and it's up to him (and everyone else around him) as to whether or not that sticks.

On the other side of the galaxy, or perhaps nearer than you might think, ERIDAN AMPORA is a troll that flirted with rebellion before losing patience, cutting ties, and making for the stars with dreams of HEAD ADMIN status on the illustrious DC REICHENBACH. Along the way he gets bored, as those in administration often are, and a chance poker game brings him ominously close to the Imperial Network and brings him directly into the lionfish's den of the Empress.

Rebellion is not brewing any longer but boiling over, and sooner than later something has to give.

Ooc question: are there any interrogatormentor fanfics that focus on the rebellion group?

All of the interrogatormentor fics are under the series header on ao3 located here-- https://archiveofourown.org/series/1135625 ! That way you can see all the fics we have available.

That being said, to get more granular and specific to your question, the current longwork (Coming Home to Yourself, to Me) is more focused on the rebellion itself as it follows Sollux's rehabilitation and integration into its gullyworks. We also have The Fall of Icarus, which is more one-shots not from Sollux or Eridan's point of view and of which Chapter 2 is more rebellion heavy.

But if you're looking for the specifics of the inner workings of the rebellion itself and their day to day... That's what the askblog serves as, since we don't really have anything apart from that. So if you'd like to see more, ask away to whatever character you desire (keeping in mind this is Sollux and Eridan's show and so asks to them are favored).
