FAQ for this post:
The trans guy neck hump, or “dowagers hump” is not exclusive to trans men but it is a result of a specific hunching posture trans guys often use to hide their tits. It’s barely noticeable to the average person so it’s not worth getting insecure about, but there are ways to get rid of it. I got rid of mine with lifting/stretching/being more aware of my posture.
Many have noticed that the medical professional is wearing a San Francisco Giants jersey, this is because it’s legendary baseball player Barry Bonds who holds the record for most home runs in a single career, making him the most qualified man for this maneuver.

how to do a plank without wanting to die
tl;dr: maintain proper posture, have feet shoulder-width apart, and think living thoughts.
actually it's been lovely to start in child's pose then transition into a full ramp plank, making sure to extend my spine with pushing heels and shoulders down. but i've been building my core muscles for a while so on this post, the How steps go through 3 types of planks with a "level up" in difficulty indicated by a ^
ive been repeating this in my head all week. auntie likes wearing the strap…….
the real danger of spending too much time with friends is you stumble out of ten days of happiness and good food like oh my god THAT was real life. my job means NOTHING
yeah it makes life worthwhile. i hope you get to hang out with a bunch of people you really like for several days in a row some time soon!
does anyone else think about how brave all their friends are and get really emotional about it
I'm glad everyone is alive rn
one out of the many things i really love about discworld is how deeply unlikable the watch is in non watch books. that might seem a strange thing to say but if you've read the book you what im talking about. its such a simple yet effective way of showing the multitudes any organization has, but especially one that's enforcing a system or law. i mean, think about it, when reading the watch books the only people you're rooting for is the watch themselves, everyone loves sam and carrot and angua, they're all our favorites!! but when you come to face w them in other books like, say, the truth or going postal or unseen academicals, you're suddenly not as keen on them. because why are they interfering w william, who's just trying to do the right thing and why can't they just leave moist alone, who's just trying to survive (albeit by not always lawful means, but if you choose to read a terry pratchett book im sure you've already gotten over that) and why are they so distrusting of trev, who was really just trying to save his friend? well, obviously, because it's their job. and when they're doing that job in the watch books it all seems justified and necessary, but when seen through civilian eyes, they're just annoying bastards with bad case of entitlement issues. and terry MEANT for you to feel that. lets look at another example. we like william very much in his book, he hasn't got the best background but he spends the whole book and after making up for it. but when we meet him in, say, monstrous regiment, he's kinda just pretentious and posh and when moist mentions him in making money he doesn't seem to be universally liked. terry is not precious with his characters, he doesn't coddle them, and thats what makes them so real.
Physical Therapy for when walking and standing hurts
this is my reminder to me about what helped after a month+ of work, but if this could help others who have the same weakness as me, i'd be glad
note: these build up muscles (my thighs were particularly weak) so initially i got new aches. they're numbered by weeks assigned but stack, so by week 3 i did all these exercises twice a day. now that pain is just soreness -> once every other day for maintenance
week 1. strengthen feet/calves
10 reps twice of raising heels to point of stretch, not hurt (i have high mobility in my ankles and the pain focuses at the front, so 70% of the way up at first)
30 second hold (3 times each leg) of gastroc stretch: push down on the heel and bend forward knee to feel stretch in back-leg's calf back
2 minutes (each) rolling a tennis ball along the arch of my foot
week 2. strengthen thighs/hips (can have resistance band around thighs just above knees on all stretches here)
10 reps twice supine bridge, engaging butt muscles for lift
10 reps twice each side clamshell, feeling resistance bands on thighs (use a pillow. put hand on hip to find point hips may turn and stop leg raise there; you want to feel it in butt, not back, muscles)
week 3. relieve upper back pain
20 reps of open book, from on side: hands clapped together, bring upper arm up onto the other side, following the movement with head and feel stretch in upper back (modified to keep knees together and reminder to use pillow to avoid neck pain)
other things that helped: switching to shoes with more cushion (tho now i can return to my regular dress shoes), hand massaging feet with moisturizer focusing on tight spots, "toe yoga" (raise the big toe alone, then switch to raise the small toes alone; engage arch and don't press down hard), and adjusting how i walk to engage worked muscles (hips more forward to be under my lower back, rather than popped, and rest back on heels when i remember)
For everyone who ‘used to love reading’ but now hasn’t finished a book in years, you CAN get it back. Genuinely start bringing a book (preferably short and either fiction or a non fiction topic you already really enjoy) everywhere you go and when you have 5-20 mins waiting for the bus or at the doctors office or mechanic or whatever, get out your book and read it! You don’t have to finish it quickly or even read it often but it is so good for your brain and fun to get into the habit of reading more (and replacing being on your phone for those moments). Source: I read 0 books in 2023 and I’ve read 12 in the first 4 months of 2026

Thank you, Black people in fandom spaces. Thank you, Black creators and Black lurkers. Thank you Black artists, Black writers. Thank you, Black bloggers, Black influencers. Shoutout to those Black characters, both canon and original. Thank you, Black people, both queer and cishet.
Your perspectives matter. Your representation matters. You are not bothersome for demanding equal treatment in fandom. It is not your responsibility to make fandom more welcoming and inclusive to you. It is not your sole responsibility to create all of the Black-centered content. You are not "ruining" anyone's fun for demanding better for yourself, and anyone who says otherwise can go fuck themselves. Any fandom worth being a part of should have no room for racism in it.
Black people in fandom, you are wanted. You are needed. You are loved and appreciated. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
And since they don't get told it near enough, thank you, Black women especially!!!
