And we literally closed down Disney! Boom baby! This was such an amazing experience for me I had a ton of fun and so did the little ones. We did lots of kid rides,ate lots of food and had a #disneyexperience . Looking forward to coming back when the kids are older. Overall an amazing time with my family so far on my Christmas break. On set last night at my first commercial shooting ever! Very cool experience! It's kind of weird when your childhood dreams start to manifest in front of you. Just understand something guys!! All the stuff you see on tv and you see other people living isn't as it seems! I promise! I really enjoy when I can capture real emotion to show to you guys! I've been through many ups and downs and like I've been saying this season of my life is the toughest! The smile you see in this picture does not mean my life is perfect! It doesn't mean I have everything figured out! It is just a moment I was content with my situation and having joy in the day created. We can't always have control over everything but we can control the emotions we choose to ride. If there is one thing I've learned more then anything else in my swimming career it is to NEVER GIVE UP. This is a video of prelims of the 50meter freestyle at the meet this past weekend. I easily should have made it in the A final between but instead I was faced with an adversity. My arm slipped to my side when I entered the water and I came to almost a dead stop. I had two choices, stop and get out or give it everything I had and make the best out of that situation. I chose to FIGHT! I was only .09 off of the winner of that heat and I still managed to make the D final. Although it wasn't what I had hoped for it was still another opportunity to go fast! I dropped a 22.62 that night and placed myself 6th overall in a star studded field.
