hey folks! today’s the summer equinox which means its super hot and all i want to do is swim

the idea and color palette for this piece came to me pretty randomly- if i were to describe my process for this it would just be going by what feels right (it took around 7 hours and i used all 44 layers) i’m very happy with how it turned out though! also side comment lilies are such an elegant and pretty flower

+ the sunflowers go out to a really special friend who did something really big yesterday. sis i’m proud of you + color scheme was based on orange after i saw some pics of the orange runway last ep of drag race + this drawing started off as a pencil drawing on my cake icing notes! i’ll post the process vid when its done rendering
