THREE YEARS AGO today, I posted the final chapter of Streets of Gold, and I felt that called for some anniversary art 🎉

@human-rocket is finally part of my Streets illustration collection! And we present to you this adorable scene from the boys’ beginnings, way back in Chapter 4 (of 65!), which I felt captured the essence of this fic.

Here, they don’t even know they’re in love yet, but there are signs… like Anakin being physically unable to keep his hands to himself, and Obi-Wan’s shy smile and flushed cheeks 🥰

Obikin Football/Soccer AU

I am not a football/soccer person, but I do love a good story. When the whole thing about Cabo Verde and Vozinha blew up the internet, I was drawn in, and that gave me the idea of a football/soccer Obikin!

I mean, come on. Obi-Wan Kenobi, the forty-year-old goalie for Stewjon, competing in their first ever Galaxy Goblet, drew against Naboo and Alderaan with his mad skills until they played Coruscant the reigning champs? The same champs who has the famous striker Anakin Skywalker? Who was not only impressed with Obi-Wan's goalkeeping skills, but also fell in love with him? And Obi-Wan being completely honoured to have played a match against the absolute amazing striker?

Yeah. I couldn't ignore that idea.

Anyway, they fall in love. Obi-Wan retires to open up a football academy. Anakin helps part-time until he retires! Happy ending all around!

@human-rocket came through with my vision of them hugging at the end of the match, both looking so overjoyed. I love how this turned out. Thank you, Bree!

Here I am, closing the google form a little bit early. We have got so many replies, but unfortunately we have got a three way tie for our theme! So it's time for another poll to decide which one will win.

Before that though, here are the results of the other inquiries!

The event will last two weeks, it will have a general theme and different prompts for each day (free days in the weekends), and i can already tell you that based on your replies the schedule of our event will be August 24th to September 6th.
