Just saw someone on twitter say that, they don’t believe that killing the Jedi order brought balance to the force. Now I’m someone who isn’t the biggest fan of the Jedi order especially in the clone wars, so take what I say with a pinch of salt but DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS? For starters order 66 didn’t bring balance to the force, Vader killing Palpetine did and secondly how can the force be balanced when there are like 7 confirmed dark side users pre order 66 (Palpetine, Maul, Dooku, Savage, Ventress, Mother Talzin, Old Daka) and then during/a year after order 66, Dooku, Savage, Old Daka and Mother Talzin are dead Anakin is now Darth Vader and there are a bunch of Inquisitors, (side note; Old Daka, Mother Talzin, Ventress, Savage and the inquisitors aren’t out-right Sith but they do use the dark side of the force) and but you still have around 10,000 Jedi across the galaxy pre order 66, is that balanced? No, and while there are still more light side users alive, the Sith have control over the galaxy and are immensely powerful in the Dark side of the force. So to say that order 66 brought balance to the force is blatantly incorrect.

To add to this towards the end of the Clone Wars the Jedi were becoming more and more of a political entity rather than a religion based around serving the will of the force. Dare I say it, most of the Jedi council at the time were bad Jedi, they had lost their way and that’s the whole point of the prequels. It’s the story of the downfall of the Jedi and they were pawns in the master plan of literally one of the most powerful Sith in the history of the galaxy. They became generals and warriors instead of peacekeepers. And while they fought for peace and a safer galaxy for its residents, they still felt the dark side grow stronger and stronger and they were so engrossed by their own hubris they wouldn’t even take the notion of a Sith return seriously. The force had been out of balance for millennia with Jedi supremacy and then the force attuned to that with Palpetine Vader and Luke and Leía. The Jedi weren’t meant to be a political body, and as stated by the bendu (the one in the middle) to Kanan “perhaps it is the will of the force that the Jedi and all your kind perish.” The force needed to correct itself but order 66 wasn’t the answer it was the redemption of Anakin.

Here is the original post, no hate to the op but some people have a critical misconception of the force and I believe this is a prime example of such a case.

They are partly correct but too much of one side even when it’s good isn’t balance. Like having an all fruit diet isn’t a balanced diet. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Sometimes, sure, but why was Maid Marian a fox in Robin Hood? There wasn’t anything particularly “foxlike” about her personality, and it would make more sense for her to be a lion. They made her a fox only because Robin was a fox and making her something else would be “weird”, but I don’t think the wolf cop or the chicken maid or the lion prince were actually meant to represent race.

I can’t do anything recently without getting angry and I don’t know why. I hate the fact that I can’t play games with my friends (there are a lot of reasons for this but I’ve never gotten this frustrated) I can’t think about work without getting white hot rage even though it’s the best it’s been for months lately. And I can’t even go through TikTok without getting pissed off. Why am I so angry and on edge. I hate feeling this way and it reminds me of my dad and don’t want to be like that. Something is wrong with me. I’ve just gotten so angry at a video game that I almost broke down in tears and nothing can satiate my feelings. I don’t know what to do.

Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.

(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)
