200kg block pull from 4" blocks. First time using straps for a heavy single, and had them set up wrong as you can see one side shoot up before the other. 102.5kg tap and go bench. I hate my pathetic bench press but it is at least making progress, getting painfully close to 100kg paused. Today was without doubt one of the best squat sessions I have ever had. 3 sets of beltless doubles with 160, 165 and 170 for up, so I went into full on PR mode! Hit 182.5kg (400lb) for an all time PR, and then went all out for a 190kg(418lb) squat, which went up but I'm calling that a no lift due to depth. 100kg x6 front squat (first 4 shown). Reslly starting to like front squats now, can't really pull off the Olympic grip due to poor wrist flexibility, but this is a PR none the less. Yet again, back to back PRs. I finally got some more weights so I can actually test my Deadlift max, that's a 200kg(440lb) Deadlift on the left. Redemption for my "hitched" 200 from the last meet 😂 and on the right is 180kg(397lb) squat, which is my previous max, but doubled and also a weight I hit, but failed due to a technicality at the last meet. All done on the same day and it is a MASSIVE confidence boost. 150kg paused triple here. Depth felt good and form was pretty clean overall. This is also the lowest I've ever had my elbows which made a big difference to my balance. Dropped down to 3 plates for 2 sets of paused triples after this. Back to back Deadlift PRs! 185kg(407lb)x2 on the left, and 180kg(397lb) x3 on the right. Went into this training session hoping for 1-2 reps with 180kg since it was my first time doing conventional Deadlifts in about 5 weeks, but 180x3 felt so smooth I took 185 for a spin! 185 is incidentally all the weights I actually have so I may have to invest in some 20kg plates 😂 also squatted 180 for the first time to full depth yesterday but no video.
