WARNING do NOT start reading books and comics or watching movies or looking at art!!! you will start wanting to create art yourself. or god forbid. writing.
No but actually LMAO
Summitt Dance Shop is legit, so fresh and so clean
yessssss
Some of their contemporary pieces were unbelievably gorgeous art. My jaw was on the floor watching Angelina's solos. And they've always been the best at productions.
I highly suggest watching the group There Will Be Love.
Summit has some really pretty pieces this year. I wonder where they will go to nationals.
Joy Decowski is certainly talented at thinking of creative way to incorporate props into tap dancing! Showbiz this year is really not about that, but I think it's awesome.
Forever a Malia Scott fan account. It's weird to say she's underappreciated since she won best dancer. But I'm saying it anyways.
This doesn’t include the best bit of the whole thing - she found the Twitter thread!
This is like one of those romance novels where people bond over accidentally writing each other emails but better.
Like Pride and Prejudice but instead of the love interest getting dissed for his toxicity and then reforming, it’s just two people bonding over dissing a dead toxic asshole.
10/10 would recommend
Wow, Lucy 1st for pre-teen diamond solos. Surprising everyone! She seems like such a sweetie, I'm happy for her!
Side note, did they hire school dance team judges for this competition? because they reallllllllly favor sharp, flashy, big movement. And not flowy, dancey technique.
Reblog if you too do not want to share outside with them.

Awwwwww I love happy endings
I totally get how the awards at hall of fame are fun for kids, but I am so happy I don’t have to hear their guy say walk off in his style one million times. Since national scores only go up to platinum. It is so much faster.
Kinda sucks to me that dyscalculia and dyslexia are so often lumped together.
No, dyscalculia is not "dyslexia but with numbers". They're very different, with few similarities. I really wish dyscalculia were talked about more often, so people would understand me just a little better.
Because I'm dyscalculic, I intensely struggle with multi-step tasks, get lost very easily and frequently (not just in new places, but EVERYWHERE), can't remember important numbers, can't remember anyone's birthday besides my own, take a very long time to do most math equations, can't read an analog clock, can't do any oral math, can't manage my time, can't tell what time it as at any point without a digital clock, can't understand maps or navigation, can't recognize some "simple" math terms or symbols, and I can't reliably count backwards.
And much more, but I'm not gonna sit here and list every single one of my dyscalculic traits. If you want to learn more about dyscalculia, then PLEASE research it yourself. The more people who are knowledgeable about a wide variety of disabilities, the better.
There definitely are some unique difficulties that follow to adulthood. For example, if I'm really tired, I can't play even simple games with numbers or dice. I can't ever change my phone number, and if I'm really stressed I can't remember my social security number. I lost my social security card for years, but luckily I found it in my pocket a few years later. If you hand me a spreadsheet, I involuntarily cry.
Also, in high school I found out that I can't work a cash register because I can't count out coins and bills quickly and reliably. These are all difficulties I have adapted systems for, or my family and friends know to help with those specific things. I'd say the thing that is the hardest is that I'm still terrified of credit cards because I can't understand fake money, but I just don't use them.
