Ngl kinda feel like constantly posting like “nothing good will ever happen ever again” is not in fact Revolutionary Leftism but just a sign you are depressed
Like it feels like you are precluding the idea of anything you believe in succeeding?

So tired of every single person I know in this city requiring 2 messages and 6 business days to even fucking respond to me and then if we do make plans half the time flaking at the last minute and the other half being 30 minutes late.
From Ursula K. Le Guin’s Cat Dreams. Illustrated by S. D. Schindler.
A 15-year-old boy is about to base his entire personality on the last movie you watched for the next 10 years. HOW BAD IS IT?
He is going to get himself killed. Badly.
He is going to (try to) kill himself
The most obnoxious person in the world has just been born
FURRY (derogatory)
FURRY (normal)
Not much has changed? But now he's stuck like this for 10 years? Yikes.
It's cringe but it could have been a lot worse
At least he'll have fun at Comic Con
If anything this is a slight improvement.
He's not a boy anymore. He's a man now.
She's not a boy anymore. She's a girl now.
FINALLY, a son I can be proud of!
A little annoyed I spent basically my entire life up until my 30s being like “no way would I have a kid” only to turn 30 and have my ovaries be like HELLO WE ARE YOUR BIOLOGICAL CLOCK
A lot of ppl make all their child rearing fears around pregnancy and ages 0-3 which is extremely valid but honestly I think I’m pretty good about powering through physical discomfort, what worries me is being able to properly Emotionally Relate to like a 5 year old lol

could an average, able-bodied person reasonably walk from where you live to a library, in good weather?
yes, because i live at a school/college etc with a library
yes, very easily
yes, there's a library in a reasonable walking distance
yes, but it'd take a while / terrain would suck to navigate
yes, but it'd take so long / be difficult enough to do that nobody would
no, there's no library in a reasonable walking distance
Babies are socially accepted parasites.
When u read Ayn Rand 1 time
They’re not a parasite, they’re a potential investment
When you read Ayn Rand a dozen times
the problem with any sort of writing about deciding to not have children is that 95% of it is, by necessity, written by writers.
"I'll leave a legacy with my writing"/"my finances are too unsteady to support a child"/"my job is fulfilling enough" <these are all valid concerns for freelance writers but not rlly relatable lol
