Say what you will about adults watching shows for teens but so many of us are watching because we didn’t get to grow up with this great LGBTQ representation the shows bring us. Honestly, I just wanna see LGBTQ youth feeling happy and safe because as a teen I was not happy and people would whisper “gay” like a bad word more often than not.
gotta love how in 2012 Tumblr, all the replies on even slightly weirdly worded posts and replies were like "oh mY GOD what did I just read" and "THIS ENTIRE WEBSITE IS ON DRUGS" and a long series of Superwholock gifs of people flailing and laying face down on the ground and generally overreacting
and in 2022 someone can just calmly post shit like "off I fuck on my weekly journey into the deep murky woods to snort a line of ants off the Woodland Ghoul's dick" and nobody even comments, they'll just quietly nod like yeah mood and reblog that shit.
Maybe a faint little "yeah that's valid" hiddne quietly in the notes.
Bless whatever Wookieepedia editor took one look at the Jedi Code article and decided the one thing it needed was throwing more shade at Anakin Skywalker.

I'm a simple reader, I like it when the pov switches back and forth between one character thinking "I am so ugly.....too rugged and broad shouldered and good at chopping logs to ever be attractive to this beautiful ethereal person.....even now they stare at me in disgust" and the other character who is thinking "NUT but I must control my passion.....they know how lecherous I regard them and pity me for my hopeless lust NUT NUT NUT"
Character A who suffers from horrible self image within a narration that has described them only in the hottest of ways: I see the way you look at me. I know what you think of me.
Character B who is Ashamedly Horny: I'm sorry... I hoped I wasn't so obvious. I will leave if that is what you want.

It wasn’t boomers who made it impossible to survive on a librarian or gardener’s salary - it was rich people.
Plenty of boomers work as librarians, teachers, gardeners, and so forth, and are finding that as the cost of living skyrockets and corporations take over more and more of the world, that their salary is no longer able to support them.
And thus you have boomers - who understand how much you want to be a librarian because they also work as librarians - going bankrupt, losing their homes, drowning in debt, and dying because of unaffordable healthcare. And they get why you’re becoming an IT specialist instead of a librarian - because they! Know! That you can’t survive! On a librarian’s salary anymore!
On the flip side, the rich people sucking money out of every service and person they can! Aren’t! Always! Boomers! Tons of them are Gen X! And an increasing number are millennials! I haven’t seen a Gen Z billionaire yet but I’m willing to bet there’s a couple by now!
Oh, and it’s not like they “don’t know” how much people want to do these sorts of jobs - they do! That’s how they justify underpaying people, because it’s your passion, you don’t ~need~ to be paid a living wage for your passion.
You have more in common with poor boomers than you do with Kylie Jenner (born 1997). Go and talk to them. Organize with them. You’ll find they have a lot to offer once you stop dismissing them as rich old folks who ruined the economy.
