ā Hi everyone~! I'm Nova or Ally (I don't mind either) and I'm a fanfiction writer!ā I've been writing for nearly 3 years and I just recently started playing TF2! So I decided, why not write for it too!! And after writing here for a year I've now decided to branch out and write for other things!! :3

Scout with a black reader who's very intelligent and gentle? Cuz he's already the street guy and we never see black characters who aren't snarky or dtupid, maybe??? Almost a trope subversion
Iām not even gonna lie, Scout was probably intimidated at first. I mean the only other black guy he really hung around was Demo. So he probs didnāt know what to really expect. Of course he laid it on thick like he usually did only to find out youāre the sweetest thing in the world.

Scout often comes to you when he has questions about things because he knows you wonāt judge him on things like the others.
When he sees how patient you are with him, and that makes him fall even harder in love. Because youāre actually listening to him, and you understand how it felt to be judged before someone got to know you.
Honestly loves how soft spoken you are sometimes. Because it makes him laugh whenever you suddenly snap and tell someone off whoās been bothering him.

Speaking of your hair! He loves seeing you in box braids, heās always been fascinated by watching the different styles youād do. But braids are by fair his favorite. Especially with different charms and beads that you could place in your hair.
Enjoys laying his head in your lap when youāre watching movies or reading. He feels safe with you and has fallen asleep there multiple times before.
He loves hearing you read. Not just because youāre smart, you calm him down, youāre the balm to his soul that he didnāt know he needed until you walked in.
Definitely loves it when you dress up too. Donāt get him started if you try to dress up like the pinup girls in the magazines he has, he might melt into a pile of mush.

When you guys travel together in his camper, he makes sure he has plenty of things you need, sunscreen different hair care products. Even though he doesnāt care too much about he looks, he knows that you would probably prefer different.

Coming from experience, Most Black Woman are raised to be more independent, as we are often the most disrespected race, even by our on men. So if his partner was tired of having to be miss independent?
