Earlier this month, we made a post asking for your support in attaining 15 year-old Nour’s monthly treatment for her congenital heart condition. Unfortunately, the funds raised came too late. Nour’s health took a dramatic downturn yesterday, and the doctor said that because she had gone so long between monthly treatments, several of Nour’s heart valves have closed up. She now requires an urgent operation to save her heart.
NOUR WILL DIE WITHOUT THIS SURGERY!! She is dying right now because her heart is struggling to function! She needs this surgery IMMEDIATELY to save her young life!!
The doctor said the surgery will cost $8000 USD. Nour’s family’s GFM is in Canadian dollars, or CAD, of which the conversion rate to USD is $1 USD=$1.41 CAD. This means we need $11,300 CAD in donations in order to pay the equivalent of $8000 USD for her surgery.
We NEED to raise the funds ASAP so Nour has a chance at survival!! We are breaking this sum up into 2 smaller goals to be more attainable. Our first goal to save Nour’s life is to raise $4000 USD/$5656 CAD.
**Progress: $43,187 CAD out of $49,000 CAD**
(or $30,554 USD out of $34,670 USD)
PLEASE HELP SAVE NOUR’S LIFE!!!
Hello, I am Ibtisam Al-Habil.
My suffering began in 2014 when my husband was martyred, and I was … Yaser Matar needs your support for Help
last post is losing traction so remaking once again, sister is still unemployed and needs help making ends meet I got paid a short check for having to miss work because of the crazy ass weather last week and we've both got bills due. please share and help if you can 💫
For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.
My daughter is very ill. She laughs despite the pain, unaware that her small body desperately needs blood transfusions to compensate for the severe deficiency that has weakened her. She has become frail and weak, suffering from constant fatigue and unable to live a normal life like any other child. Despite everything she is going through, she still smiles innocently and clings to hope. I appeal to anyone who can help to stand by us in this ordeal, as every bit of support could give her a chance at treatment and a chance to regain her health and her life.
Our lives are a meaningless name, our lives have no flavor. Every day we go to fill water containers, to treat the sick, to set up tents, to be displaced, to be homeless, to be killed, to starve.
Please donate anything. Any donation will save lives. Any donation will be a solution to all our problems in this life. Five euros will make a difference.
The Nazis were also obsessed with transgender folk, and everyone else they considered an offense to their "delicate" sensibilities. Or to put it simply if you weren't a blond-haired blue-eyed cisgendered heterosexual German you were going to die…someday. Here's a webpage with a short summary and a connected video:
Before 1933, Germany was a center of LGBT+ community and culture, with several renowned organizations serving and supporting trans and gende
And here is a very short summary:
I wonder if the other members of the Axis Powers ever processed that. Because the various Slavic nations, the Italians and the Japanese were also on the list of those to die.
The first target for Nazi book burnings was the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, which was a pioneering clinic for gender affirming care and where the first gender affirming surgeries were performed.
In May 1933, the Institut was raided, those in the clinic were arrested and most were executed. The library, with countless books on trans healthcare and queer social research, was declared "pornographic obscenity" (sound familiar?) and burned shortly after.
Most people are familiar with this image:
But very few of them have any idea it is of the burning of the library of the Insitut and of its association with an explicitly homophobic and transphobic pogrom. It's history has been actively erased by those with the same belief on queer people in the west to make it easier to persecute us now and make it more difficult to spot fascism.
This was the burning of Alexandria for queer people, but most either don't know or don't care.
not even two years after the 2024 racist riots and attempted pogroms, we are back to more racist riots and attempted pogroms.
a mosque in scotland had to be put into lockdown. they are going door-to-door with hit lists and addresses in northern ireland, setting houses alight. they firebombed an imam's house in manchester. people of colour are being targeted and attacked by racist mobs in the street in broad daylight.
and instead of widespread condemnation or wall-to-wall coverage, the UK media and political establishment is filling air time talking about the "legitimate concerns" people have about "illegal migrants"
When I used to ask "When are we leaving?" I always got "Not yet," which was frustrating because I didn't want to leave, I just wanted to know how much more time I had left, but I was a kid, and didn't know how to properly word things.
I remember a time when I asked my mom when we were leaving, and she said we'd be leaving soon. It ended up being two hours.
I then asked her why she lied about how long we were staying. She then answered why we stayed, which isn't what I asked. She made it seem like I was being unreasonable for demanding that we leave soon, even though I had literally zero complaint about how long we were staying. And I made that very clear.
She has done that since longer than I can remember. She does something that bothers me, I spell out what part bothers me, she pretends I'm bothered by something else in order to make it look like I'm the unreasonable one.
And not only does she misinterpret and add hidden meanings that I never meant, but she holds onto her interpretation even after I correct her.
med people are so annoying "This family's 8 year old child who was about to go through a major surgery and kept crying that she was hungry so they pitied her and gave her food, she then had a heart attack in the surgery. They're so stupid 😒" girl they didn't know that could happen or why it happens. it takes so little time to explain to them that will happen instead of telling them "no food" with no explanation 10 times
"Before surgery, your body’s reflexes that protect your airway are relaxed by anesthesia. If there’s food or liquid in your stomach, it will near certainly come back up and go into your lungs, which can cause choking, a severe lung / heart infection or even a heart attack. That’s called aspiration, and it is life-threatening. It's hard, but it's only a single day to prevent near certain death. Not eating or drinking beforehand massively lowers the risk and helps prevent these life threatening situations under anesthesia." <- TIP: patients have brains which allows them to receive information just like you
I have four kids. I’ve had one or another of them need some kind of surgical procedure that requires anesthesia four or five times over the past 15 years.
This Tumblr post is the first time someone has explained to me *why* I couldn’t feed them before those instances.
I’m not stupid. I understood that just fine. Hell, my kids would have understood that just fine. But no one bothered to tell us.
i did know this before having kids (i have six). we have a kid that's needed multiple procedures requiring anesthesia. and every single time, i am asked multiple times if i'm sure he was not given any food or water after a certain point.
every single time i have had to say, "i understand that if he had food or water, he could aspirate it into his lungs under anesthesia. i am not lying to you." THEN someone would make a little note and i would stop being repeatedly asked.
not a single time was that risk explained to me. the only reason it came up was because i already knew. i still don't understand why it isn't standard pre-op counseling or pre-op check information, when me as a parent acknowledging the actual risk also put THE MEDICAL STAFF at ease because i conveyed that i had informed understanding as reason to not lie about giving my kid food.
"maybe some people will get nervous and refuse surgery" okay so they need more counseling about risks and anxiety, not less information in a way that actually does endanger their child or themselves!
For people still in denial whether Israel has committed war crimes, here is a comprehensive list of war crimes Israel has committed both before and after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the list being taken from the Wikipedia article of war crimes with some notable missing examples being the usage of chemical weapons, famine, disease and apartheid. The 7th of October attack did not occur in a vacuum, but is the product of decades of Israel not being held accountable for its war crimes.
Out of all of these articles, I would recommend reading the International Association of Genocide Scholars Resolution on the Situation in Gaza.
I think it is also important to read the Right of peoples to self-determination/Struggle by all available means – GA resolution from the UN in 1990, particularly point #2 and #3.

Hey yall I just wanted to come on here and bring some attention to what’s happening at the detention center (really a concentration camp) Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey. There is a hunger strike going on right now to protest the abhorrent conditions within the camp (allegations of torture, maggots and other bugs in the food, etc) and protests happening outside the camp. ICE is not allowing any politicians to come in (as is their right) to see the conditions of the camp. I would urge yall to do your own research, but if you want videos of some people who are actually there, here are some tik tok accounts you can go follow: @ bethanyquilter/ @ whoiskingtrivv/ @ Status Coup News/ @ L.A. TACO
And here is a video explaining what’s going on in more detail than I provided.
With everything else going on in the world, it can be hard to keep up with stuff going on at home, but ICE is still out here terrorizing innocent people. We must keep our eyes on them, and keep fighting.
Feel free to add more sources or info to this post, should you have any.
You have to love her. You have to love her when she sleeps til noon because she was up late. You have to love her when she doesn’t have the energy to do anything but lay in bed. You have to love her when she didn’t shave today. You have to love her when her thighs are hairy because the sensation of shaving them is too much for her to handle. You have to love her when she spends a day playing games because working is too overwhelming. You have to love her when people assume the worst of her. You have to love her when the world turns against her. You have to love her when she feels powerless and alone and abandoned. You have to love her unconditionally.
You have to love her when she's plural. You have to love her when she's little. You have to love her when she's racialized. You have to love her when her autism isn't just quirky hyperfixations. You have to love her when her mental health isn't just #Relatable Internet memes. You have to love her when she's disabled. You have to love her when she has chronic pain. You have to love her when she needs help with the little things. You have to love her when she's unemployed, broke, struggling. You have to love her when people ignore her. You have to love her when people talk over her. You have to love her enough to lift her up. You have to love her enough to give her what she needs. You have to love her enough to stand by her no matter what, because no one deserves to be without love.
AND LOVE IS NOT JUST "I love you" EITHER. Love is support. Love is safety. Love isn't just donating to charity. Love is paying for her to eat when you know she won't otherwise. Love isn't just reblogging a positivity post and hoping she'll see. Love is seeking her out and telling her how much she means and how happy you are that she's here.
Love is not just love, love is action. If you don't get that, then you've missed the point.
You have to love her. You have to hold her. You have to remind her that she's real. You have to choose her- dear god you have to choose her- even in the middle of the storm, you have to take her hands. How else do you convince a woman to live??

This Pride, Please Consider Helping an Unemployed Trans Woman
My fundraiser from last month fell significantly short and I really need help. I am so sorry that I’m still in a position where I have to ask for help. But I am. I’m an unemployed transgender woman living in wildly conservative Orange County, CA. I had to leave my job because of consistent transphobic and sexual harassment. It’s a hard and stressful time, and I’m so broke that I don’t know how I’m going to keep paying for groceries, let alone medication, therapy for cptsd and depression, paying off the phone I had to buy after my old one stopped charging. I am hoping to raise $500 but literally any little bit you can give helps. Thank you all so much.
Israel has deliberately and systematically destroyed the means for people in Gaza to sustain their physical health. 94% of hospitals are destroyed, and none can operate at full capacity. Life sustaining medications are blocked from entering and stocks are running out.
My friend Fadel has been hospitalized on and off for months now. The hospitals were already unable to remove shrapnel from him two years ago when Israelis bombed his house while he was inside. At this point in the genocide, he has experienced power outages from nearby bombings while being hospitalized for severe anemia and malnutrition.
Fadel (@fadell-aldany) relies on medication to treat his blood disorder. He has been unable to afford it consistently, and the result is constant dizziness, nausea, pain, and fainting. His family is terrified every time they find him collapsed unconscious that he has died. Now he also suffers from side effects from medications at the hospital that do not work as well. Please help him afford his healthcare and survive this.
I watch myself wither away in front of the mirror while my surgery is delayed and support remains elusive. Every moment of neglect weakens me, and I'm losing consciousness because of what I'm going through. Please help me today, stand by me before I become a mere memory; your kindness might ease my pain and give me another chance at life. I hope you won't forget me.
Karmelo Anthony has been found guilty by the all edit: 3 Asians + all white jury in his court case.
nonblacks gon start taking that “racist phase” shit more cautiously when they kids start coming back in coffins bc Black children start defending themselves more.
if that white boy didn’t have a “racist phase” his ass would still be here 🤷🏽♀️.
Black teen protects himself in self defense from an entitled self appointed policing white teen acting belligerent and violent, 5-99 years.
Asian American adults racially profile a young Black teenager in their store, following him around in close proximity, and proceed to chase him a football field’s yards away, leaving their store completely unattended, to shoot said child in the back when he didn’t steal anything in the first place. Gets found not guilty.
it’s really giving we damned if we do and damned if we dont so if nonblacks are gonna lock us all up or put us in the ground anyway, we might as well get our licks in too, shit.
The high school cheerleaders of the school of the Metcalf twins wrote a letter to school staff detailing their bullying and violent behavior as a problem to the safety of the other students. The dad of Austin went on an antiblack rant calling Karmelo a, “watermelon felon”.
Another person to block (person in the middle reblog)! This is what I mean by "racists seek us out on here". How is it "so hard to find Black users," but these people are so giddy and able to say dumb racist shit to us?
Every single one of the 599 refugees the US admitted last month was a white South African, according to data the State Department’s Bureau of Population released Friday.
In fact, so was every other refugee admitted this year. Since October 1, 2025, the US has accepted 6,668 refugees. Of those, 6,665 were white South Africans. Three—admitted last November—were from Afghanistan. No other refugees were admitted.
