I used to use tumblr a lot until a couple of years ago, but thought I’d try to get back into it for fun. 

I make art, from drawings to sculpture, my art tag is #zoopart

My own take on an Ithelia design as sort of a counter part to the Meridia one I did a bit ago. I got thoughts about this one so they're going into a read more

So I really like the original Ithelia design, but the more I thought about it the more it confused me that she wasn't a bosmer or ayleid or at leats ambiguously elven given the focus of the chapter, so at first I thought itd be fun to draw her as one, and things spiraled from there

I never liked how the "female" Daedra looked like mostly just normal human and elven women, and then so many of the male daedra got to look wild looking. And im not opposed to some of them looking human obviously, I think it makes sense for some of them, Like Azura looking like a Dunmer is really good for example, but it just seems silly that the only "female" daedra that looks crazy is Namira kinda. Honestly I would have gone more wild with this design but I wanted her to still have some resemblance to her real design

So, the main thing that started this ball rolling was A. wanted to work the glass/mirror motif into her design more and deciding to replace her tattoos with a shattered glass effect and B. deciding to lean into the sort of very light dragonfly/insect motif she already had (with the specific unique creatures most associated with her being sort of insectoid) and then throwing in some art nouveau inspirations as well, with a few costume adjustments to better show off the changes I made (like the shattered floating limbs and the insect style legs)
