he had 4 siblings, Shizuku, Shalnark, Uvogin and Machi
they were all mean to him, shizuku forgetting him every morning, shalnark playing around with him by controlling him like some video game character, uvogin pushing him around and hurting him, and machi making him trip, fall down the stairs, drop things, etc
they dump all the chores on him and then go do their evil shenanigans he wants no part in
however when he's down with his tasks, he goes to his room and reads and studies up on doctor things
books, notes, etc that he has hidden from the others so they don't ruin them
and during one of these study periods a few small voices where interrupting the usual peace
at first he thought his 'family' came home early but instead when he turned around he saw teo little mice
a light bright one with green bits on his skin and a pure white one with cristal blue eyes
they where strange as they where talking, in English
he screamed but then calmed down when he saw the light brown one with a small thorn stuck in its side
he fixed the mouse up with a few scratches from the white one and now, they were friends
he decided fuck it and learned how to sew tiny little shirts for the mice
he did it, after poking his fingers many times, and they fit perfectly, with a few uneven threads but good nonetheless
they hung out in his hair and pockets a lot, or in the walls of the large house, it was an odd thing to be able to talk to mice
but Leorio took it as they were his first friends, even if they were tiny wall-dwelling creatures
it was like this for a while, the mice would hide when the others were there, and when they were gone, they'd join leorio in his study and just hang out
and then one day Prince Kurapika sent out a letter to everyone in the kingdom, inviting them to the ball he was holding
leorio was excited to get out of the house, but it seems his family had other ideas for him
they dumbed all the chores on him right before they left, ruining the suit gon and killua (the mice) had made for him the night before
and when he finished his chores, he was sitting outside, his mice friends sitting next to him sadly as they watched him sulk over not being able to go
then suddenly a little girl appeared and claimed to be his godsister Alluka
she helped him make the perfect suit, the ideal carriage, and his two friends being the horses and Alluka herself being the one who drives it
when he arrives, he's amazed
the castle is stunning and Prince Kurapika is even more stunning
when he gets to dance with I'm he's trying not to blush bright red and such
at the end after he ran off at midnight and his shoe fell off and the prince went around town to find who it was
he was finally happy being married to Prince Kurapika and being the Royal family's personal doctor
