I heard the Precious Muffin Seymour’s birthday was coming up in a few days so here is an early fanart gift. I figured mocha espresso cake was a good choice. I don’t know what our favorite void bun’s flavor is, but I thought this was a safe bet.

It’s said that mermaids were inspired by aquatic mammals like manatees. And I have also heard of seals and Sea lions being the closest thing to a real life mermaid we have. So following that line of thought, if you were to give a more mammalian design rather than just making them half human and half fish this is what I think they would look like. Slightly chubby, like seals or manatees, especially in areas with colder temperatures, skin either dark brown or bluish grey. I did brown here to contrast against the background more. partially webbed hands for better swimming and greenish hair for blending in with seaweed to avoid sharks.

a work in progress for a commission I am doing for my sister. It is suppose to resemble her dog pumpkin, and that's the part I have most finished. sharing because doggos are fun.
