What's on my plate? Not this, I wish! I ate chia pudding in my car after my spin class this morning, so not very glamorous. This was my weekend breakfast of poached eggs, avo and smoked salmon. So delicious!
This mornings breakfast was sautéed kale, peas, mushrooms and spring onions, together with vine tomatoes, scrambled eggs and 1/2 avo! • digestive kickstart • Iv recently added this to my morning routine and it's a saviour! I add 2 tsp of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar to 200ml of boiling water. Because of its raw state, essential vitamins are retained for full nutritional benefit. It's truly is the best debloating natural remedy I have used, containing friendly bacteria and natural enzymes and proteins which give it it's healing properties. Add lemon or honey for taste! ❤️

• steam fried lunch bowl • This is an amazing 5 minute lunch, full of protein, fibre and antioxidants. Method: simply chop 1/4 of a small white cabbage, 1/2 leek, 5 mushrooms and steam fry in a pan for 3 minutes or so. Add in 1tsp of capers, a pinch of salt and crack 2 eggs on top, put the lid on until the eggs are cooked and that's it! ENJOY! 😍

• miso quinoa burgers • Tonight's dinner was quinoa burgers with a miso sauce, in a lettuce bun. After a few cocktails last night, I have been feeling super hungry today and fancied something substantial! When is it going to be light at dinner time so I can take pretty photos ?! • what's in your lunchbox? • My dinner tonight was super yum but really ugly, so here's a photo of today's lunch. I cannot wait for it to get lighter in the evenings so I can take pretty pictures after 6pm! This was something I threw together super fast, and was delicious. I steam fried some broccoli and leeks and mixed in my homemade raw pesto (link to the recipe in my bio). I then added rocket and 2 boiled eggs for a protein hit to keep me fuller for longer! Hey lovelies,
I just wanted to share with you my views on breakfast!
Breakfast is socially seen to be only for beige food. I have no idea where this reputation has come from, but I truly believe that it's a massive contributing factor to people battle with weight.
Toast and cereal are the main culprits, but breakfast bars are also to blame. Now, I must stress that something is better than nothing. However, if you can stay clear, your health will dramatically improve and you will not miss a thing. A smoothie takes seconds, as does scrambled eggs or porridge. I really encourage people also to move away from the idea of what food should be consumed at breakfast time, because it's just another meal time. We limit ourselves to what we think we should be eating at each meal time but really, it's down to you.
Steam fry some leaks and sprouts, serve some smoked fish alongside your eggs, anything goes!
The sooner we move away from the preconceptions we have surrounding food, the healthier we will be!
