I was digging through the artifacts in my drive and found these. I never posted because I wanted to actually introduce them, with comic backstory (see center). But like... it’s been a year since this piece. Nevermind the other ones lying around!

So these are Dott and Spott and they’re literally those little dots in the yin-yang symbol, that now have their own incarnations because accident. They embody their element in a roundabout way; for example, Dott’s destruction is creative, like... vegetation bursts from the ground and everything ends up crumbling and looking like it’s been abandoned for centuries. Spott absorbs and releases misfortune in ways that frankly defy the laws of nature, physics, and reality in general...

Something I really love about the love square is that locking Adrien and marinette in a closet has a different interaction then ladybug and chat noir being locked in a closet, or Marinette and Chat noir being locked in a closet or ladybug and Adrien being locked in a closet.

Adrien and Marinette locked in a closet would have Adrien making sure marinette is okay and marinette doing her best to calm down. But then Marinette remembering the situation would do her best to get over this and the two would then work together. Adrien being a sweet heart and trying to help anyway he can

Ladybug and chat noir locked in a closet with Ladybug trying to figure a way out while Chat noir makes a flirty joke about ‘7 minutes in heaven’ but then lets it go after ladybug tells him this is not the time.

Chat noir and Marinette trapped in a closet would have chat noir first ensuring marinette is okay, but also throwing in a flirty line being like “Don’t worry princess, we will get out of here.” Marinette would casually tease back and then they would both try to figure a way out.

Ladybug and Adrien trapped in a closet would have both of them blushing and Ladybug assuring Adrien that she will keep him safe. Adrien saying that he is not worried and that he doesn’t mind the situation. Resulting in more blushing and Ladybug may blurt out something about how different circumstances might have made this better.

In my head it looks more like:

LadyNoir: Same but Chat's screaming on the inside trying to calm himself down by repeating "well if I had to be locked in a closet with anyone at least it's with her", except he says it out loud, Ladybug looks concerned, and then he's trying to cover up his panic with flirts.

Adrienette: Are both panicking, until Marinette realizes Adrien is incoherent and calms him down by tapping into Ladybug; by which I mean she's trying to kick the door handle off. She does eventually get it open after expending most of her frustrations and the air. She ties Adrien's laces to a broom handle and wrecks that door.

Ladrien: Surprisingly calm only because she lets him latch on to her like a baby koala.

MariChat: In which Chat panics and tries to claw his way out. Marinette yells at him to just use the baton. He doesn't have the baton. Nor cataclysm. Nor food. Also, there is no handle. Two bad luck don't make good luck. So she has to calm him down. She tells him to just release transformation since he's going to drop it anyway so they can save some time. (With no redundant explication because he assumes Multimouse would have read the kwami user manual.) She expects Plagg to behave: go find something edible and return like a responsible person. But Plagg is a cat. They spend two hours in the dark with Adrien on Marinette's lap being scritched to unconsciousness. Tikki has to go hunt down a naughty kitten and brings him back tied to a kabob stick.

Claustrophobic spaces would favor Maribug in any case.

If we were talking about getting lost in the middle of nowhere that's a whole other case.
