So a while back, one of my readers on so watch the world tear us apart; a stoic mind and a bleeding heart mentioned that Martin and Sorona's relationship reminded them of the painting "a meeting on the turret stairs". The image stuck with me to the point I couldn't get it out of my head, especially with regards to a little self-indulgent AU in my head where the Amulet isn't stolen from Weynon Priory, and I ended up commissioning @moonlitalien to illustrate it for me. I really love how soft and warm this turned out. I'm such a sucker for yearning.
