I made a fuzzy, chaotic idiot Raccoon named Raiyner. Included a close up for icon purposes.

Me and my bestie @jocejoce1001 have a "DC Bring Back Lance Bruner" agenda. And to keep it going, she have come up with a birthday for her favorite boy - 24th of March!

(For those who don't know: Lance Bruner is not an OC, he's a forgotten DC character that was adopted by Bruce Wayne long before Jason Todd even existed as a character. He died in canon, but me and Joce are working on an AU where he lived.)

And for this occasion we've collabed to make this piece! I did the sketch, shading and effects (the background is from Clip Studio Assets), and Joce did the lienart and colors.

Give your best wishes to this precious boy that deserves to be revived in canon!

I just want to say... Lance (the way I write him, at least) does not choose his own clothes. This definitely includes Vigilante-wear, which he usually leaves up to Dick.

#lance bruner #dc comics au #batman brave and the bold #dc comics #nighthawklancebruner #my art #sketch #colored #batman #like he wasn't even on the Titans team and they were still choosing his civvies for him #and Bruce was adamant specifically abiut making sure Lance actually went out with clothes on #after they moved out Dick usually chose clothes for him #young Jason didn't get Lance's lack of reactio to fashion until he realized Dick was constantly putting things on him #Tim was constantly getting him screen tshirts and would get flustered when Lance put them on #especially if they were at the store and Tim would have him try something on because half the time Lance would just strip off his shirt #right in the middle of the store #Jason came back and Lance stole one of his shirts and now Lance's shirts are mostly oversized because Jason keeps yoinking them #from people's closets and his own and specifically comes back from a mission but had time to stop at the store #drops a bag of clothes on him like “so I was duking it out with this guy and I couldn't get this look out of my head so here you go”#Tim goes beyond screen tees don't worry #for Dami after awhile it starts to bug him because clearly his brothers have a terrible sense of fashion #so after awhile he just does double takes when he sees Lance and casually adjusts whatever Lance is wearing and Lance is like hahah okay #Steph delights in getting him into ball gowns and classy dresses and heels because she's not the one wearing them but lance is a stripper #heels are pretty easy for him #so it's very entertaining to her and cass #babs and bette had tried in the past to teach him fashion but that didn't quite worked out and they just confused him #“what the hell did Dick put on you”#“he says we match!”

Ah that feels so much more better and correct! I was like, "I feel like I haven't been drawing him right," because, you know, I used to draw him constantly.

I saw one of the sketches of teen Lan I did and went, "Oh yeah, it's been even longer since I did one of those!" so here we are xD

Nightingale's colors actually use some blue and orange, rather than purple, but Lan's fave color is still purple.

Okay, I like this design for Galra Keef Keith better.

He has his cheek tufts back, and the biggest tuft of those tufts blends with his cheek stripes -- no worries, the stripe still continues towards the back of his neck. Like his mum.
