For the first time, Inej gets to see Kaz Rietveld or as he would have grown up if he was still on his family farm, surrounded by sun and fresh air and no weight on his shoulders. And she feels happy because Kaz Rietveld looks and feels so much younger without the weight of the world and Brekker's reputation on his shoulders.

Kaz likes being Kaz Rietveld again too.
