#well I did not speak english at 11 (we only started learning it 4 days before my 11th birthday in 5th grade literally)#but that was the year Herbert Grönemeyer released Mensch #a song he would say he wrote to deal with the death of his wife and his brother (both of which died within days of each other from cancer)#Mensch means human in german and the song is about the human condition #and yeah it deeply moved me as an 11 year old #but it holds up 24 years later too #the raw emotion is felt I think at least if you speak german maybe it sounds silly if you translate it verbatim into different languages id

#i don't care what we call it my beautiful wife the malaysian gp has returned to me <3 #also means we have gone from 12 races remaining in the season (including today's race) to now 13 #though of course there are question marks around Qatar and Abu Dhabi as our last two races so we might be down 2 more #I read just last week that MotoGP may have to cancel their postponed Qatar GP outright and might not return for 2027 either #after already reshuffling the whole calender to keep Qatar in for November instead of April :)#so I am not holding my breath that F1 will be able to race in Qatar either which makes it all the more impactful #those points from Sepang will go a long way for this championship
