Story time:

My good friend from a couple years back use to RP in the DC fandom, as Nightwing. He was a phenomenal writer and had a lot of attention from female RPers OOC as well. One day, this Starfire RPer showed up and they clicked really well in terms of writing. My friend at the time had just turned 20. This girl claimed she was 18 and she certainly looked like she was as well, so no one found anything wrong about the two of them smutting and eventually dating after a year of talking.  

Two months into the relationship, they decided to meet up in person. We didn’t hear anything from either of them for almost half a year after their supposed meeting.

The girl was really 15 years old and her parents found out about her smutting and the explicit pictures she sent to my friend (who was uncomfortable about them when they were sent). They called the police on my friend, who had been deceived. Then this innocent guy went to jail and was labeled a sex offender because this girl was NOT HONEST WITH HIM.

So, it is your RP partner’s business to know whether or not you’re of legal age. If you really care about them and about writing with them, you will tell so.

Look, guys. I advocate a strong UNDERAGE SMUT IS ILLEGAL stance because a) it is, I’ve done a whole fuckton of research on it, and b) I’ve been there.

I was 16. My partner and best friend was ~19. We roleplayed all the time- over chatrooms, email, IM, even texts. We roleplayed smut, too, and never thought twice about it. 

TLDR; she was involved in a minor car accident and her phone records had to be pulled for insurance purposes. When her mother, a lawyer, saw the text messages that we had been exchanging and found out that I was underage, she flipped her lid. She was so afraid that her daughter was going to go to jail that she completely cut off all of our means of communication. My friend was nearly kicked out. 

Let me tell you, that is one of the worst feelings in the world. NOT worth a few paragraphs of bad sex.

I’ve said it before; if a parent finds out that their child has been ‘smutting’ they aren’t going to give two shits if they were 'pretending to be someone else.’

Alright. I don’t have a very big follower count, so if you guys could spread this, it’d be great! I’m trying to find out how much interest there is in a game that allows you to romance monsters. I don’t mean like cute cuddly pokemon type monsters, I mean like out of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign kind of monsters - the prototypes we’re working with are an Aboleth, a Beholder, and a Mindflayer. This game would allow you to set your character’s name and pronouns. It would allow you to choose if you want to romance male, female, non-binary, or a mix of monsters. It would allow you to choose if they look like traditional versions of the monsters or have a more humanoid appearance. I’m super interested in knowing if people want this kind of game.  Here are the designs we have so far for the more “Humanoid” versions of the characters.
