How to make a legacy family page.
Hi guys i’ve created a mini tutorial on how to create a page on your simblr because i get asked about this a lot (its my most frequently asked question). And i always end up repeating myself lol so i decided to create a tutorial : ) its probably shitty because i’m not very good at instructions lol.
1. You need to find the edit theme button on your simblr, it usually in the top right corner of your page.
Once you have clicked on it is should take you to a page that looks like this
Scroll down and click add a page
What you need to then do is type in whatever the name of your page is so for example if you wanted a specific page for you legacy you would type tagged/legacy as highlighted above.
* You only put tagged if the page you want to show is a page with that specific tag.*
If you wanted to do a downloads page, for example, you would put downloads (just like that (nothing else). (explained below)
After this make sure you give your page a title and make sure “show a link to this page” is selected as seen below
Depending on your theme you may not need to do anymore but…
If you are using a custom theme the page may not show up in order to get it to show up on a custom theme you need to go back to the edit theme page and then scroll down to where you see links..
this will allow you put the name of your link and the link to it.
under link 2 you will put the name of the page so in this picture this is my downloads page.
As i mentioned above you will put /tagged/downloads if the page you want it to be directed to is tagged as such (e.g #downloads). (i really hope this bit makes sense.LOL)
After all this press Save.
your pages should like this on your main page (test them to see if they lead to where you want them to.)
This may look different depending on the theme you use.
