Things that have happened while I was observing in daycares:

- 4 year old asks me if I have a husband. This was completely unprompted.

- 18 month old thinks I am her sister/mother/some other relative

- 4 year old hugs every adult in the room when he leaves. This includes me.

- Child tells me it’s her birthday. Teacher tells me it is not her birthday.

- I have my hair in twist braids. Two girls argue about whether I have Elsa hair or Anna hair.

- Small toddler asks to go home with me.
