John b had decided not to text you to tell you he was on his way home, like he normally does, and to come and surprise you
He walked into his chateau expecting to hear you but all he was greeted with was silence. “Where is she..?” He whispered to himself. He took off his big work boots and put them next to your sandals and converse at the front door
He crept through the living room and kitchen, searching to see if you were there. You weren’t. He started to worry for a minute before deciding to check in your guys’ bedroom, which the door was shut to
He quietly opened the door, and was met to your sleeping form wearing one of his hoodies, snuggled so far into it he almost couldn’t see your face.
The worry left his body instantly seeing you, he chuckled to himself hearing your quiet snoring
He didn’t want to wake you, so he walked over to the other side of the bed and crawled in next to you
You felt the shift in the mattress and instantly knew your boyfriend was finally home. Your eyes fluttered open and you shifted to face him. “Hey sweetheart” he whispered to you, brushing your hair out of your face. “Hi john” you whispered back
“Mm, lonely without you” you responded, snuggling into his chest
“I missed you too honey” he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close
“How was your shift?” Your voice slightly muffled in his chest
“It was fine baby, missed my favourite girl though.” He said into your hair, smiling
“I missed you more. I wish your shifts weren’t so long, get so lonely without you around.”
“awe baby, I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you, don’t worry.”
“oh yeah? How you going to do that?” You questioned him
“By cuddling you all night and then making you breakfast in the morning.” He stated
“Hm, I think you should add in unlimited kissed into that package too.” You said, turning your head to look up at his face
“I think I can do that.” He said looking down at you
You leaned up as he leaned down, his soft lips pressed against yours
You smiled into the kiss. When you pulled apart he hummed affectionately
“What’re you smiling at pretty girl, huh?”
“I just missed you Johnbee”
“I missed you more, my sweet girl.”
