My favourite toy was a homemade Care Bear mum gave me. I love Care Bears and I have a intimidating collection. I’ve always felt a real-life Care Bear would be more terrifying than cuddly. I often spend way too long imagining an encounter with Grumpy Bear and decided to share this musing with the world. Some of us can eat peanut butter sandwiches and some of us can’t. Some of us don’t react to medication and some of us do. I drew this to highlight the differences in our lives and the danger mass generalisations can bring. I spent a year in recovery after opting to take medication labelled as ‘safe and effective’.
