i always forget that along with stitch, lilo also gains 2 weird alien dads
and two human dads. if you count. agent bubbles & david. ah. lilo you really scored in that dads department.
Lilo is to dads as Steven Universe is to moms.
Lilo and Steven would get along so well. Collecting their weird alien families and playing guitars and hanging out at the beach.
Aww that would be so cute
so cute, i had to draw them together!

my friends and me, planning our futures
We will never be the same again. But here’s a little secret for you—no one is ever the same thing again after anything. You are never the same twice, and much of your unhappiness comes from trying to pretend that you are. Accept that you are different each day, and do so joyfully, recognizing it for the gift it is. Work within the desires and goals of the person you are currently, until you aren’t that person anymore, and everything changes once again.
(Cecil, Welcome to Night Vale, Episode 75) That is legitimately some of the most helpful advice I’ve ever heard. (via sleuths)

Hello! This lil cherry wants to go on an adventure, where should i send him?
He might like a camping trip!
What a great idea!
Unfortunately people dont make tiny tents for cherries, but at least the fire kept him warm!
where should cherry go next?
he could go to space & meet a tiny fruit alien :3
That sounds wonderful!
Look at him go!
Where should we send Cherry next?
Of course!
Where should cherry go next?
Sounds like fun!
the mermaids didnt seem to want to play but Cherry still had a good time seeing all those fish!
aww looks like the lil guy’s all tuckered out from his adventure today, thank you for helping him, he had a great time!
I’m so happy this post didn’t turn into something violent or gross. I love cherry <3

THIS IS AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!!!
people talk a lot about how public schooling in america is a really fucked up system but i think we should also maybe talk about universities too. like why is being stressed out to a breaking point part of the college experience? why is it accepted and expected that college students will often go without sleep in order to get their work done? i don’t understand why we embrace the idea that college students should be stressed. i think the amount of homework assigned is absurd and unnecessary. it does nothing productive for learning. it just burns students out and makes us lose our drive. and on top of that, we have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for this torment lmao it’s so ridiculous and honestly kind of sickens me
our stereotype of a college student is broke and vaguely suicidal, that’s fucked up.
what bothers me is how no one seems to questions the actual amount of work it is. my scholarship requires me to take 30 hours a year, working out to 15 hours spent in a classroom per week in a typical semester.
the rule of thumb every professor and advisor has given me is that for every hour you spend in class, you should spend 2-3 hours doing work outside of class. when you add the 15 hours in class to that, you end up being expected to work 45-60 hours a week.
if a full time job is 40 hours a week, how do they expect college students to be able to spend 45-60 hours a week on school alone, while also expecting students to have a job or (usually unpaid) internship, plus any extracurricular activities like clubs, sports, or student government?
