Lol so I made a really self indulgent irken character on my phone. I got intrigued by ppl’s headcanons about irkens w disabilities/war veterans so I made a general who was born without legs and has pak prosthetics. She’s very cool and my gf now.

She’s mad because if she did have legs, she woulda been on track to become a Tallest, but bc the irkens are dicks, height enhancements don’t count and now she can never be one. Thus begins my fave movie, “Red and Purple Must Die”.

✨Nora the Northern Stargazer✨

Based on my favorite lil bottom feeder, Nora is a wistful mergirl who longs to explore the only world she cannot reach- outer space. Instead, she spends her days in New York Harbor collecting any space-themed human items she can find, like her coveted NASA shirt and brass telescope. She then lies out on a waterlogged hammock bed and stargazes every night, imagining what it would be like if she could actually explore the stars as humans do. ✨🌟✨ I know I took creative liberties on her coloring, but these gross monster fish deserve to feel pretty too. She is also gay and eventually finds a human gf who studies astronomy, bonding over her class notes and general space geekery when they first meet. Persephone was my muse of choice, based on an old design I’d come up w for her in the past. I didn’t quite make the deadline for their lyric book because I decided to fiddle around with the piece for too long (whoops), but I still finished it and am happy with the results.

Sometimes you just gotta let your perfectionism win out. Huzzah.
