While waiting on his reply, Penelope tried to bring her composure back to seem at least a little sympathetic. “Is this a first-time offence?” She asked, hoping to try and give him a little bit of credit and lower his humiliation bar at least a number or two.

“I am.” He had been since he was sixteen because in the Netherlands you used to be able to drink from that age. A bit disappointing that he wasn’t anymore when he moved here but luckily he turned twenty-one last summer so great. “Do I look like I’m not?” he frowned when he asked the question.

Penelope was on her phone for a moment when she saw the guy fall after walking into a streetlight, something she had to admit she found a bit funny, to say the least. After a bit of time of him not moving on the ground, she decided to walk toward him, hoping he was alright. “Depends on what level of pathetic you are talking about,” she admitted with a small chuckle.

“Like…” He slowly opened his eyes looking at the blonde girl while trying to figure out if he could use a level-system to express this terrible humiliating feeling. Probably impossible to think of one. “Just like ten out of ten or something to be honest.” He sighed defeatedly.
