ive done it. ive done the unthinkable, the impossible, the unnecessary: i have determined everyones heights. i had previously arranged everyone (minus alejandro and sierra) in order by height but i could never get what their actual heights were without alejandro (since hes the only one with a height already given). now i squeezed them in using these pictures to properly scale them down and so i can get their heights using Math wooo
notes:
once again, all heels and platforms have been cut off because giant platform heels do not count for someones actual height
i counted their height by the bottom of their heads because of weird hair/maybe theyre leaning their heads up/whatever. this is why dawn looks shorter than sadie but the bottom of dawns head is above the bottom of sadies head so i but her in front of sadie (this also goes for some other characters)
heights may be off by a little because of stupid hair

Ok ngl i totally misread this ask as asking what the whole Gen 1 cast would do if they were in TADC in general so uhhh instead I made concepts of some different characters if they were in a TADC au 😭 sorry for the redirect ill answer your real question in a different post you spurned on a whole AU lmao
TADCs designs for characters are often visual representations of their biggest flaws or insecurities as well as plays on actual toys so I was having fun thinking of different character designs for Total Drama with these points in mind
Like Duncan
His biggest insecurity is that people can tell hes not actually that tough, and hates being viewed as soft or weak, so I came up with a Care Bear inspired design. I gave him an added mechanic of a literal heart patch that often tears or comes undone when hes feeling emotional, leaving him spilling his heart out quite literally. He doesnt really have hands so for added insult he has to get someone else to help him out with putting it back

DJs biggest insecurities are tricker since in canon they kind of shift around as his character is flanderized, but I went with a general fear of hurting someone or something in reference to his animal curse and fear of disappointing his mother. I ended up with a Bionicle inspired design, he cant emote well with the lack of features and while he can shift his parts around like Zooble I think they have the flaw of usually resembling weapons. Hes still a sweetie and is anxious but based on his season ones character of having a lot of fears that he overcomes within the same episode I feel like he would be more of a stable character as he'd learn to adjust to the Digital World
I also designed Heather
Shes based on this specific toy I had when I was a kid called Figit Friends. Heather is very insecure about her looks and body, and I think a design that lacks almost all human features or shape would be a good reflection of that. She manages to still be manipulative and bossy but its negated a bit by how unserious her appearance is. I think she'd be unstable due her appearance primarily, but is comfortable in her authority over the others due to them using her control as stability.
Im having a lot of fun researching 2000s and 90s toys to fit the shows era and creating character designs around the Total Drama casts views of themselves, so im probably gonna keep going down the list! Gonna put my majors Character Concept and Development credit to use lmao

im pretty sure its just the good amount of new gen tumblr users in the total drama fandom, which like, so glad you guys are here <3, but ive seen this on my and many other blogs I follow that many users do not Reblog posts, only Like them and im just gonna assume the Tumblr Etiquette for Newbies posts just havent breached this fandom lmao

On these other Social Medias, Likes tell the algorithm that people really like this one post, and the algorithm will show this one post to even more people who Like it. This is what spreads art, writing, ect around the Social Media and are what let the Original Poster know that people are enjoying their content enough to want other people to see it :D With Likes you are spreading a work of art you enjoy, a funny joke, or nice fic around to new viewers who may have not seen it without your Like

Tumblr is a reblogging platform, there is no algorithm besides the dubious "Suggested Posts" page and that in itself is buggy and primarily runs of tags it sees you interact with and not specific posts
It does tell the OP you enjoy their post a little, but Tumblr is based around Reblogging. A Like without a reblog means you like it sure, but its not building a post, and its not spreading it to new viewers :/ In order to use Tumblrs UI correctly, you need to reblog posts.
If your worried that it will mess up your blogs vibe, or character, or you just want to keep your blog as posts only made by you, a very common practice is a reblog dump blog! These are side blogs made for the sole purpose of reblogging posts, so they dont clog up a specialized blog (ie character roleplay blog, art blog) but still give other tumblr users reblogs! I use one of these :)
Im gonna be real I personally have not understood why people dont reblog my posts until I rememberd a lot of people in the fandom rn use Tiktok and Twitter mostly 😅 I'll get a ton of likes but then only 4 reblogs, and the kneejerk reaction is that people just must not like the post all that much. Im not saying that to guilt trip anybody as I know its not meant that way! But its the culture of Tumblr that Reblogs are worth more and after being on this site since 2014 its weird to suddenly see a shift to all likes but little reblogs on my work 😭 so just uhhh yeah PSA, please reblog posts you enjoy!
