I don't cater this blog to an audience other myself, expect occasional personal updates but otherwise 90% reblogs - a mixture of fandom, comedy, social justice and awareness, queer and sex positivity, art and comics of all kinds. I use the tag "crappy stuff" for things that may be upsetting to read if you want to keep things light, and alongside tumblr's own filters and "nsfw" tag on (occasional!) inarguable stuff, I use the tag "slightly nsfw" for mild things you might be very embarrassed to be caught looking at unexpectedly. I'm generally quite spoiler-conscious regarding reblogging stuff at all recently after media has launched and using tags fittingly beyond that.

My doctor recommended not checking my phone before 10 (I wake up at 7), because of how cortisol production works and affects your body. I rarely manage it, but it's nice to know there's a medical possibility that doesn't involve ignoring things or being in denial.
Apparently some people still need to hear this so: using an 'ai checker' is still using ai. If you are feeding someone's fic to one of these checkers, you will still not be sure their fic is ai because they are not 100% accurate, but you can be 100% sure that you are using ai. For fic. Furthermore you are doing the work of an ai scraper for them. You are, personally, feeding the machine. There is no actual excuse for using an ai checker on fanfic as a hobby. YOU are the problem.
If you think a fic is ai, mute it and move on. That's it. That's all you do.
How do I acquire the skill of not cringing at my voice when I record it and play it back?
Do it more. I'm sorry but this is truly the only way. You just have to kinda normalize the perceived difference between your in-head voice and recorded voice through exposure. You'll get to a point where they sound the same (or at least the differences become so expected as to not really trigger a response) and you have an overall consistent picture of what your voice sounds like.
