Operation Colin

Congratulations to the #nfl for showing how gutless they are. Their FRAUDULENT patriotism will succeed in keeping Colin Kaepernick out of the league. No one seems to take issue with the nfl charging the military for years to have patriotic moments prior to games until recently and not even televising the national athem. People's selective outrage and inability to have grown up conversations regarding his protest has also helped keep him out of the league. We live in a world now where we want to choose other people's form of protest. It's sad to see how his message and narrative has gotten hijacked and replaced with this flag battle cry. Just come out and say you're racist and quit using Colin as the catalyst for this pathetic movement. I also want to congratulate those who prefer division over productive and progressive dialogue. You've done the ignorant well. We don't have to like his method of protest but we damn sure need to respect his right to it considering how peaceful it was. We prefer to sweep his issue and point under the rug and press on over a position he actually explained on multiple occasions. And what do we say to those members of the military that actually side with Colin? They don't love their country? That's the best we can do? So now we also want to judge and question their level of patriotism too huh? A big SMDH to today's lack of evolution and growth.
