The United States — ALL of it
Reminder that Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Marianas, American Samoa and the US Virgin Islands and DC don’t have actual representation in congress and only DC can vote for President even though over 5 million people live in these areas
They drill “no taxation without representation” into our heads like it’s why the country exists… and then omit the fact that allllllll of those people pay taxes and have no say in their government.

In the days since the tragic murder of Jonathan Joss amid the outpouring of support I’ve noticed a really troubling group of people who are focusing more on an interaction between him and King of the Hill creator Mike Judge at a recent panel than on the actual hate crime that was committed against Joss and his husband.
The interaction in question was caught on video during a fan panel about the upcoming revival of King of the Hill, Joss is in the crowd seemingly upset about not being invited to the panel as a guest, and possibly intoxicated (Joss was known to be struggling with alcoholism), the panel only featured 4 people (3 of whom were writers on KotH) who were visibly uncomfortable and laughed nervously after Joss spoke, this and Joss’s comments about being snubbed have seemingly been misconstrued as them laughing at Joss and Joss not being invited to join the revival which has led to a boycott.
Effectively in order to honor his death and mourn Jonathan Joss these people have decided to boycott the final piece of work he ever did.
Now I can’t speak to the relationship between Joss and Judge or any of the writers, producers, or actors on King of the Hill but whatever they may have been dealing with behind the scenes they did not know what was going to happen, they are not responsible for what happened, and I’m sure they are struggling enough with the death of yet another friend and coworker without their names being dragged through the mud over what they never could have known would be their last public interaction.

A reminder that Gene Roddenberry's intent of Star Trek was that it was always meant to be a commentary of modern society.
