I've recently gotten into Kyou Kara Maou, specially on the fanfic side of the fandom (Wolfram is my favorite character, surprising absolutely no one) and after reading my fair share of different fanfic headcanons, I gotta say... I LOVE when the main catalyst for Yuuri coming to terms and accepting his feelings for Wolfram is when someone else is visibly down bad for him. SPECIALLY when said person is Murata. I find it hilarious, like

okay so take 2 bc im still going feral over this but i wanna address something first: i am aware that during the windblume ending cutscene, Venti and the player are facing the Brightcrown Canyons, while in the overworld both before and after the cutscene, they’re facing the Statue of the 7 in Stormterror’s Lair.

The only reason I’m addressing this is because this discrepancy between the overworld/overworld cutscenes and the final animated cutscene sort of make a loophole for what i’m about to propose. In the poen cutscene it is clear Venti and the player are on the ledge overlooking the Statue of the 7 because the ruin guard in Decarabian’s Tower is clearly seen sitting behind Venti while he speaks. I’m not sure why they completely switch places between this cutscene and the final animated one, and I’m not sure if it was just a mistake that went unnoticed (bc I sure didn’t notice it until I specifically went looking, I thought all cutscenes overlooked the Statue of the 7 before careful analysis) or... whatever, but I highly doubt Venti and the player would do a complete 180 just to come back to where they started. It doesn’t make sense to me.

So, for the sake of my argument, I’m going to disregard this discrepancy and assume that Venti and the player are still on the ledge overlooking the Statue of the 7 in Stormterror’s Lair and that it’s just a simple mistake in animation or something, because this is where Venti originally stands, gives his poem, and where both the player and Venti stand before and after the final animated cutscene. So, for the entirety of ALL cutscenes in Stormterror’s Lair Venti and the player are standing on the ledge overlooking the Statue of the 7 in front of the ruin guard.
