I added it late but at the risk of it getting lost: Breathing Space (also by previous) has a delightfully large number of all three, but the anthology of it is indeed unmanagable for this activity.
Also, I fucked up earlier, so:

i am in eskew is great bc it's about the way childhood trauma follows you wherever you go and the mundanity of human cruelty and the looming feeling that you will always be somehow separate from the rest of the world in a way that you can never truly put into words but it's also about what if you were trapped in a vaguely sentient eldritch city that hated you specifically would that be fucked up or what
my favorite line from i am in eskew is "I don’t mean to put you off coming here." crucially, it's said within the first 3 minutes of the show and gets funnier with every episode
Listen I understand why many people find Jon's paranoia thoughtless or even stupid. And I also get the people defending and justifying it (me included I'm a full time Jon defender). But in all the discussions about Jon's behaviour everyone seems to forget that no matter how irrational his actions may have seemed at the time, in the end he was literally right. One of his coworkers WAS an imposter. Someone in his close environment DID kill Gertrude. The world WAS out to get him specifically. Calm and rational reasoning be damned my man was spot on

i really need to know how many people credit their autism diagnosis to carlos the scientist
What never ever fails to amuse me about Bloody FMs Re:Dracula is that they casted Jonathan Sims, a voice well known for starting 200 episodes with the clicking of a cassette recorder, and gave him the one role that canonically speaks all his diaries into a wax cylinder and start all his entries with the wirring sound of the cylinder.
Top tier casting, no notes
absolutely no way jonathan 'pronounces words like a madman' sims knew how to pronounce bouchard.
when he's trying to thank elias at the end of his interview, he stares at the nameplate sitting on the desk and goes "thank you, Mr.,,, elias"
elias stares at him for 5 seconds too long, and goes "you can't pronounce it, can you?"
after another 5 seconds of uncomfortable silence, elias smiles at him and says 'go on, try'
jon, doing his absolute best, manages something like "boe-card"
elias just smiles and says something that would neither confirm or deny if he got it right--"it's always better to give something a go than to forgo it entirely :)"
(jon will find out how it's really pronounced weeks later when he overhears his coworkers talking about their boss)
Who doesn’t love historical fiction? It’s got all the drama and romance of a modern novel, and the bonus of a (usually) better setting. Thes
Have you ever wanted a fiction podcast about two con-artists creating a messiah, a thriving Black community in 1940s Chicago, post-Shakespearean celebrities, Ancient Rome, or queer detectives? Do you wish there were more historical fiction audio dramas in general?Check out this article and see what’s available!
Podcast game! Since these are often two wildly different things, what are/is:
The podcast you'd recommend to someone looking for something comfy to listen to.
Your actual personal comfort podcast.
World Gone Wrong, Fawx and Stallion, Greater Boston
InCo (it was tailored to my tastes lol)
For me they are actually the same. Stories from Ylelmore, Startripper, Second Star to the Left.

2. the magnus archives, the penumbra podcast
These 10 great, short audio dramas are perfect for a fiction podcast book club.
Do you want to listen to more fiction podcasts with your friends? Setting up a book club is pretty socially acceptable, but trying to convince a small group of people to listen to all four seasons of Wolf 359 in a week is apparently ‘kind of a big ask’. These 10 great shows are loads of fun, and you can get your favourite people to finish them with you. If you’ve ever wanted to start an irl podcast club, this is your sign…
Heartbreaking that the only two people in the entire series who actually understood Jon and truly saw him for who he is were his manipulative boss who was using him to end the world for his own gain and the memory of a dead guy bound to a book
Jonah Magnus died doing the thing he hated the most - dying.
Jonathan Sims died doing the thing he loved the most - dying.
