I need to scream at the void that is tumblr.

About a month ago I had requested notifications from my local SPCA for specific weight of dog (apartment landlord won't let me get a dog more than 20lbs).

Yesterday I got an email! There are 2 dogs that meet my requirements.

I was so fucking excited! Yay! A dog, finally!

They are German Shepherd puppies.

I could have them for less than a year before I would be forced to give them up again. I did cry. I have been wanting, no, needing a dog for so long. It hurt so much to have my heart crushed like that.

Cursed SPCA for bit that they would do that.

But I'm still determined to get a rescue.

I am so tired of having chronic pain and not knowing the cause. I've had it for over a year now. I was almost finished my 3 month workout and meal plan when it started. I've had X-rays, MRIs, blood tests, kept up a stretching routine, so many different types of painkillers, now having to wait months more to see a specialist for a different type of test. I've tried acupuncture and chiropractors. Yoga has been my next thing, but even that just causes more pain. I want to be fit and healthy! But this pain flares even just going for a walk. And now with COVID-19 I will feel like a bitch going to my doctor and just put on something else. I want it to stop. Even as I'm crying typing this it hurts and keeps getting worse. I can't anymore.

In need of advise. I so very badly want to go to Japan. I've already done a bit of research, and it looks like getting a tourist visa is the best way to start. That way I have time to find an employer to sponsor me. Is this a good way of going about it? Or is there another way?

I’ve made so many people uncomfortable in supporting my daughter’s personal space. People will try to hug her, she’ll sometimes say “No, thank you” and the adult will look at me to make her do it, but I just say “It’s ok honey, you don’t have to hug anyone you don’t want to.” It makes people irrationally huffy, making me feel even more justified in supporting my daughter’s choices. Creeps.

What I have noticed whenever I'm going through a depressive episode:

Stop playing video games (obviously loosing intrest in hobbies is common with depression)

Tired all the time (again common)

Strong cravings for sour, salty, acidic foods (being on a diet has helped with these cravings).

Watching informative videos (lots of Experts review blah blah).

Long quiet moments that seem to actually be disassociation episodes. Where I just stop thinking, moving, taking in sensory input. Just lay there and be.

If it wasn't for my diet I'd probably not eat all day during some of these depressive episodes.

I don’t think I made it very clear but last month I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was my friend (I don’t want to talk about it don’t ask), and it’s… really fucked with my head. 

Had I known this a month ago I would have been able to get away.
