“this person texts like chatgpt, they must’ve used it”, “that author writes like chatgpt, they must’ve asked chatgpt to write for them”. that could still be because chatgpt was trained on how humans talked, wrote and created. it’s trained to mimic real human. and whether or not you like it, it’s getting better.
if you suspect a work was written by ai and if that makes you uncomfortable, you can always stop consuming said work. but—I am saying this with genuine respect—public speculation, where you make a public post to accuse someone, and witch hunt harm real people whose art and creations are entirely human-made.
also worth mentioning that people who are on the spectrum and people who aren’t writing in their native languages are often wrongly accused of using gen ai
