Inter(net)national Friends

Do you have them? Are they reasonable? Meeting up in real life?

I have a few international friends, mostly because I went to their countries and met them in person and still talk sometimes. But other friends like through social media like tumblr or other things that you've never met.. how do you feel about this?

I think the relationships are valid and obviously have their roadblocks such as time zones. But also in general like how close can you get to someone you don't experience the same things with?

Maybe you have a similar life experience and that allows you to connect, or you're part of a book club, what have you, but when experiences together are lacking it just seems difficult to foster a relationship. This is why conversations stop usually because you literally run out of relevant things to talk about or reference to because of your lack in mutual experience.

But silence in a conversation is also not a bad thing intermittently ...

Vegan reinstatement

SO IVE BEEN CHEATING A LOT AND ITS REALLY HURTING MY CONSCIOUS AND MY BODY

and I want to take today to just decide I am going to be a better vegan and not cheat at least until the end of the month , and by then I shouldn't have the urge to cheat anymore.

And I mean like ANYTHING, usually I'll let something like gelatin or honey slide, but I think I need to go back to my strict self like I was like for my first year being vegan because, like my last post was saying, it's just gone too far and I'm obviously suffering physically and mentally for it.

Today I intentionally bought a doughnut for myself and ate it, and something from McDonalds that was probably vegan actually but that really set my stomach on fire and I'm dying right now actually.
