The server have been terrified recently. Not because of the fact that someone broke the codes and laws of the universe again, or the fact that the server is lagging. No, it's the fact that none of those are happening.
The first time the oddness started was when Grian was about to start yet another war by pranking a hermit. All intent of doing it stopped when his comm pinged and Xisuma warning him to not think about doing it. He looked around yet he didn't see anyone. Then he looked in the chat to see Xisuma logged off.
The second time was when Doc attempted break the law of the universe with his crazy machines (again). Xisuma logged on and sent a text right before he activated the contraption - stopping him at once. Doc didn't think much about it except he assumed Xisuma was fixing something and didn't need his force of power interupting the server yet.
The third was with Cub and Scar trying to test their vex magic. Then the fourth time with Cleo and arson, and so on with everyone else attempting shenanigans on the server whether they're alone or in group.
It's became so common that Xisuma just knew what they're up to - logging in, saying no and leaving immediately. They theorized thar their admin has some sort of magical power he'd been keeping secret from them and is finally telling the server about it subtly.
Keralis sits in Xisuma's kitchen, Joe right next to him busying himself with some tea. Xisuma's fiddling with his comm - trying to fix it after it's been glitching out for a while.
"So, how've you've been doing, sweetface?" Keralis questions, noticing that Xisuma's eyes reflects tiredness.
"Oh, just the usual." Xisuma perks up, "Though some admin work has been piling up recently, but I'll manage."
Keralis sips his tea, "Is that so? Is there anything i can help with?"
Xisuma waves it off, "It's fine, just some backlog that needs clearing."
"Oh, that must be hard then." Joe comments, "The hermits are always up to something, there'll be so many logs you need to clear out and new ones will still flood in."
"Oh, I've got a strategy to deal with that." Xisuma snicker, looking back down on his comm and continuing to mess with the settings.
"Strategy?" Keralis tilts his head, curiousity gleams in his eyes.
"Yeah, a strategy. You see, i didn't want them to get in much trouble when I'm doing this, so every couple hours, i just hop on the server, say no, and log off." Xisuma chuckles, "Now the server thinks I'm some sort of psychic."
Joe nods and smiles, "That is a good strategy."
Keralis laughs, "Shishwam, you are a genius!"
