i hit a coding slump for a while, so i’m easing myself back into the swing of things with a quiet winter theme.

Theme #17: Switch
Inspired by the Nintendo Switch (which sadly I will never own T_T), my first completely fluid theme - the posts automatically resize depending on viewport, expanding to a maximum width of 450px and shrinking where required, so all non-mobile devices will be able to navigate the theme perfectly!

Theme #22: Paleta
Alternative title: So Much Goddamn Flexbox
The idea of a theme resembling a color palette is one I’ve been toying with for a long time, so this is actually kind of overdue. The main highlight of this theme is the six custom “swatches” on the left side of the screen that display their hex codes below the link labels. Though obviously intended for vibrant color schemes, it looks just as great in monochrome!

psa: how to make pages visible on mobile
so! you have this nice, fancy theme that you worked hard on with nice graphics and swanky pop up pages. but perhaps consider clicking this thing here when making pages :
the little blue switch there will make that page show up on mobile browsers like this, under the blog title and description, next to the usual ask/submit buttons :
in an ever increasing mobile world, lots of people using mobile browsers struggle with guessing if you have popup pages, have issues with pinching and zooming, being unable to read pages because of overlapping background images, use /rules or /laws, /bio or /about, or any other combo of common page names. this makes it easy for people to read your rules, instead of following from the app and then accidently forgetting to read them later. and if you use pop up pages, please consider making plain text pages that show in mobile browsers to help people be able to read them on the go! so they never miss important info that they need to properly interact with you.
