All of these people either still have work or still have their creations up for sale and are still promoted by DC. Gretchen Felker-Martin's work has been removed from comic stores, and has had refunds issued out not just for the issues that were owed on pre-orders, but for the issues of #1 that were already purchased by customers. This is the complete eradication of a person's work. This has never been about professionalism, it has never been about doing the right thing, and it has everything to do that this was a transgender woman who the internet harassed for months, who DC seemingly did nothing to support, who was then dropped wholesale for making a tweet celebrating the death of a neo-nazi who was actively involved in making her life as a trans woman tangibly worse. If you were wanting to participate in a boycott of her work, if you were contributing to the transmisogynist hate campaign against her, you are a bad person who is unsafe for trans women to be around. Your efforts have not ever been about protecting women, it's about taking the first excuse you have to harass a trans woman into silence. It is transparent, it is disgusting, and I hope you feel nothing but shame for the way you have acted and what you have contributed towards.

....So, um, does this not freak anyone else out??? Is it just me??? Because like, this sounds like actual hell for all the kids involved. Their entire childhood and teenage years has now been dedicated to filming a (unneeded) reboot of Harry Potter to the point they can't even go to school at any point with this type of school being set up for them and them only, and even then the school stuff is second to filming, being at hours that let's be real, any other kid would be fucking resting and such in, not having to race to do school work because they spent their normal school hours filming.
This is literally actually giving vibes of WB trying to find any loopholes they can to have the kid actors film non-stop to the point it won't be surprising if stuff comes out about behind the scenes some time after the reboot is done with.
Btw before anyone says this is normal on sets with kids, last I heard a-lot of film sets aren't setting up schools for the next decade basically of the kid actors life, they have tutors coming onto set at best to handle the school work with the kid actors and when they done with filming finally, the kids go back to school like normal. This is basically set up to mess up the kid actors chances at education and developing like kids should while in education let alone their chances at socialising outside of fellow child actors and the adult actors around them...all so that a terf can make more money for her bigotry and replace the cast that turned against her.
Outside of every bad thing JK Rowling ever did, the level of fucked up this is is astonishing.
It reminded me of this presentation (?) Max Burkholder did recently on kid on set and child labor, and while I think the whole thing is paid, there's a lot of pieces of it that are on YouTube, it shows so many failures about child protection on set, and it's all pointed by someone who claims to have had a good experience growing up as an actor, but so many child actors have come up in the past to talk about horrible experiences and we as a society keep ignoring that in order to have our silly shows and whatever

I refuse to accept that Bruce being mad at Jason for killing is canon. It makes no sense.
Batman can't kill. Sure partially because he never wants anyone to lose family like he did even if that family is criminal. But that doesn't apply to people like the Joker. Who's going to miss Joker? The people who he mentally broke? No, the reason batman doesn't kill people like the joker - truly purely vile and evil human beings is because than vengeance will swallow him and he knows it. He knows that if he crosses that line, he may not return. He'll want to kill every criminal who hurts someone. So, for the safety of Gotham, so that he doesn't become an overlord, he doesn't kill.
But that doesn't mean no one else can. So as far as I am concerned the canon version is:
Batman:*concerned that his son is killing and might lose himself and default to killing instead of trying to save* Don't kill the joker
Red hood:*kills Joker*
Batman:...
Red hood:...*doesn't just go around killing redeemable characters. Employs low level criminals and treats them fairly. Takes care of children in crime Alley.*
