Other text under read more so you don’t have to be bothered with my rambling if you don’t want because I went off with what’s essentially my version of this ( made before but I wouldn’t copyright over this ( that would be silly ) )

This is great and I thought of this as well but it’s a trio of 1; highly traumatized inkling who ran away from home at a young age and collects and sells scraps to fend for themselves and 2: their Salmonid friend they found lost and care for as he tries his best to be there for the inkling he’s only 2 years younger than and 3: a somewhat awkward but knowledgeable Octoling who has two well known older siblings who struggles with a whole crisis of trying to make a name for themselves or at least make some friends

They follow at different times, group A with Cuttlefish and the Octo the other agents so when they meet up it’s a whole thing of “wait wasn’t I supposed to do this” and “but we thought-“ and they just end up making them all agents on the spot and figuring out who’s who

Over the course of the story they learn to trust each other through the levels and learn each other’s strengths to play to them and let the one who’d be better at it try and they go on to eventually be best friends by the end of the hero mode with a whole “what the heck just happened /neu” moment but all both have new friends now, Octo a job fulfilling to them as an agent ( it’s the knowledge the others know and that feeling that matters to them, as well as being able to help ) and the inkling and Salmonid a new support system

4: Say Cuttlefish drew/remembered them wrong

It was really bothering me that ( Captian ) 3 didn’t look how I imagined, and was pretty upset about that. I found a video though that shows you how! Now any people who want to change their 3 for whatever reason can do so freely!

Dear new Splatoon players,

First welcome to the game and fandom!!! I hope you all have a wonderful time here and you have fun! I wanted to give you guys some fresh tips that’ll be super helpful to know as early as possible!

1. BOOYAH BACK

If someone booyahs in the beginning of the match? Booyah back! It’s like a team rally saying “We got this go team!” If someone booyahs when you help them splat someone, save them from getting splatted or after you splat the person who splatted them? Booyah back! They are saying “Thank you!” If someone booyahs at all booyah back!

2. Glowflies

If you’re playing Salmon run and the Glowflies go for your sweet little squid or octo ass GET TO THE HIGHEST POINT OF THE MAP AND STAY THERE! Not only will this make it easier for your teammates to take out the salmonids but will also keep you alive! Now if you are on the other end and are protecting your teammate don’t forget to let the Goldie get close to the basket before killing it!

3. Have fun!

Last but not least one of the most important tips have fun and be kind to others! We’d like this to be a nice fun place for everyone so please help keep it like that! Happy inking everyone!

idk how else to put this, but the act of booyahing back in battle is like, an unspoken signal in the splatoon community that you’re willing to cooperate with your team and work together. like if you’re on a team where EVERYONE booyahs back when one person does it you’re probably gonna be able to get stuff done. if no one booyahs back then it’s probably not gonna go as well and it’s just gonna be awkward. you gotta booyah back that’s just how it works

Hey in case anyone missed it, there’s a detail you may not have seen! On the testfire there’s a section under the read more

While the proper testfire for the Splatfest will be on August 27th, from the 25th onward the app will open for something different!

Starting as said August 25th, you’ll be able to play the games tutorial and take a look around the games playable city area!
