Interviewer: So, we have one question that we ask every person we interview. It’s probably one of our favorites. If you can, pick a scar on your body, show it to us if you don’t have to take your pants off, and tell us a story about how you got it. And even if you do need to take your pants off, go ahead. So, tell us about a scar and how you earned it.

Tobias: Uhh, [laughs] I have a scar on my arm which is actually, [looking] it should still be visible.

Interviewer: [excited] He’s disrobing!

Tobias: Yeah, hhh it’s hardly visible nowadays but it goes from there to there [pointing]

Interviewer: Sliced!

Interviewer: it’s a couple of inches

Tobias: Yeah, two inches and when I was fifteen I think it was I had a friend who lived on his own with a cat!

Interviewer: uh-oh, Ian knows all about that.

Ian: Yes I do.

Tobias: [dramatic] And that cat... that cat his name was Mephisto.

Interviewer: Hah! So metal.

Ian: Perfect.

Tobias: Unfortunately that cat was very much you know in the custody of a twenty year old who likes to drink-

Interviewer: Listens to metal.

Tobias: and maybe is not the best caretaker in the world.

Interviewer: maybe is not the best cat daddy or mommy.

Tobias: you know I’m not even sure if he was neutered at the time so he was [bleep] nuts. He was crazy.

Interviewer: A cat in heat going crazy listening to metal.

Tobias: Yeah, and I was sitting alone in his apartment and I was sitting, I remember it was almost pitch black in the room and I was sitting watching a film and all of a sudden I just hear the [amazing cat impression] and he just jumped up-

Interviewer: [laughs] aww, gotcha!

Tobias: And he just jumped to right across the room and, and cut my arm.

Interviewer: And he just- what- what the [bleep]

Tobias: But I mean it bled like hell.

Interviewer: Oh he got ya?

Tobias: Yeah, he just attacked and uh, but I’m very much a cat person so it’s not like- had it been a dog I would have been afraid.

Interviewer: It didn’t get booted or-

Tobias: No no no no no. I don’t believe in hitting cats and doing all that sort of ruffle.

Interviewer: Oh, you’re a good human.

Tobias: But it’s definitely one of those scars that whenever I see it I definitely remember-

Interviewer: [metaphorically shaking fist] Mephisto!

Tobias: Mephisto, the crazy cat.

Interviewer: The bastard!

Ian: Damn you Mephisto!

Tobias: Yeah, but he was- except for that- I really wonder what the [bleep] was he doing, cause he was actually kinda nice-

Interviewer: You’re in my territory!

Ian: It’s possessed!

Interviewer: You were in his spot!

Tobias: Probably, yeah.

Interviewer: He was like I’m trying to watch a movie too!
